I used to come here over 10 (?) years ago and remembered loving the authentic food... returning after so long was such a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and prepared well. The service was pleasant and welcoming. I wish I could remember the names of the dishes we had because they were all wonderful (all vegetarian and 1 fish... More

I frequent Thai Boat a few times per month. I enjoy my meal everytime, be in dine in or take out. The value is great, especially if you order the dinner portion. The servers are friendly and the food is ready quickly. I haven't tried too many of the menu items, as I have my favorites. The Massaman Beef Curry... More

I'm not a thai regular, this was more of a first time expirience at a "Thai Restaurant" and I dislike "Pad Thai" so I was against going in the first place. But it was a group gathering, there was about 10 of us. It was a good venue for a group, it was about 7:30 on a week night it... More

As with every persons review: To each his own -- here's ours. We have never had a bad experience here. Last time in, we noticed that they've recently re-done the menus (new options + changed some dish names). The Basil beef (which now has a new name and sorry, can't remember it) is always great -- beef is consistently tender,... More

Live Thai food, in particular pad Thai. First time at this restaurant and ordered it here. I would call it middle of the pack. It was however, spicy. They didn't mention this when ordering. It was fine with me, but if you like your pad Thai milder with no heat, then you wouldn't prefere this option. Portion was also a... More

The staff is SHADY and they are VERY rude. They are very cheap with there portions and I didn't like the chicken because it smelled bad and the texture was cheap. I ordered a soup and hardly ate the chicken meal and I still paid full price (I didn't mind) but the staff has NO courtesy to satisfy there customers... More

The food is okay and the service is okay, but I know I can have better Thai food and a better overall experience at many other restaurants in Calgary. We arrived to the restaurant, there were only 2 other tables with diners, and we waited SO long to have someone take our order. Then, we ordered the spring roll appetizer... More

After staying in Calgary for several weeks, I ended up coming back to Thai Boat over and over, making my way through their menu. Everything was excellent, especially their curries. Fantastic food, nice staff, very cool atmosphere. Can't wait to get back!

Had dinner here with some friends of mine and its excellent every single time we come here. The Spring rolls are fresh and made to order, you can really tell that the owners take pride in the food. We had 2 curries and Pad Thai all which were excellent.

Having been to a number of Asian restaurants, I was surprised that the Thai Boat did not have larger portions for the amount of money they charge for each dish. However, the pad thai was excellent, and the green curry chicken was wonderful. Order more than you think you will need.
