Usually I give a restaurant a couple of chances before I say I would never go back, so it's been twice that I have had amazing service but terrible food. Chicken is not seasoned at all, ribs were dry and gravy was gloppy. Oh well, I'm off to look for a good chicken and ribs place.

Good food as usual from a Swiss Chalet. Great for families and excellent for kids. However- found our service to be annoying when every conversation led with an attempt to upsell. IE: Are you sure you just want to drink water to start? (yes) Are you sure you don't want to order a special appetizer? (did I ask you for... More

Swiss Chalet is okay if you don't want a burger. Decent meal, average service, the best part of our visit was the police arrest we watched in the car park during our meal!

Arrived tuesday for dinner, it was almost empty but no one greeted us for 8 minutes. Food took a long time to come out and was cold except for the kids meal which was so hot it burnt our fingers. Shortly after leaving I had to make an emergency stop at a bathroom... This one has been great before, it... More

Always so good for so little but now recently I have heard on CBC radio that the waiter's have to give a percentage of their tips to the management via a company wide order. Not nice so we double tip because it is always just what I want at a great price and the warmest server's anywhere in the city... More

Went in at approx 11:30, two of us ordered the white meat, which after a wait a woman who smelled very heavily of cigarette smoke told us white meat was not available. Had to ask for extra water, napkins and finger bowls. Went there for a birthday lunch, told the waitress they did nothing extra. I have been to other... More

The only good thing about this place is the guy that comes around and makes ballon animals for the kids. We order Apps they did not come. The 1/3 of a chicken must have been a peigon....the fries were hard. When I remarked that sun was shining was shining in my eyes the only remark I got was well the... More

Food comes pretty fast. Every bite was so tasty. Service was excellent and food was hot and so good, this is a family place. Lots of kids and seniors but people of all ages are there too.

Swiss Chalet is a favourite restaurant for my children aged 8, 11, 14, 17 and that is a good thing because I consider their homestyle meals to be quite healthy and nutritious. Known for their quarter chicken dinners, don't miss out on sides such as perogies or their famous chalet chicken noodle soup. If you have room for dessert, the... More
