It's been about 10 years since I've had a chocolate peters milkshake and it still tastes as good as it ever did. Don't be scared by the long line ups the staff have mastered how to move people through quickly. I find the drive through is faster than walk ups.

Don't take the Banff bypass! Go through Calgary to Banff and stop at Peter's Drive-in. It's simple burgers and fries with extra thick milk shakes. Drive through are walk up window with picnic benches. We love it for simple comfort food and on a sunny day a great place to sit and pause from travel. A must stop even if... More

There is no better place to head on a warm, sunny day than Peter's Drive In. This is a Calgary institution hat has been around for over 50 years. The double burger with cheese, any chocolate, strawberry, banana etc milkshake and onion rings is worth the drive. You can drive through, or park and order directly at the window, grab... More

Iconic burger stop that most Calgarians know....seen the bus load of tourists stop in many times on their way out to the mountains Good burgers, I for one like the newish fries and thank you Peter's for finally putting in debt! Only draw back is that it is a busy place....Saturday afternoon you could be waiting a while

Reasonaly priced, good location, very good burgers and shakes. Onion rings and fries are large so make sure you can share an order with someone. It can be lined up especially in good weather but it is worth the wait.

We never have a hamburger that isn't Peter's. For a while, the new owners (bought in the last couple of years, I think) were not using the old Peter's sauce - and it looked as though they were losing business. They have since fixed the problem, and the burgers are once again really good. We have out-of-town relatives that go... More

It use to be a lot better a few years ago,the food is still good. You use to get a good one patty and a half now it you get one and a little bit. The burgers I find aren't as solid anymore. Still a good place for a treat!

The burgers were delicious and the butterscotch shake was tasty, creamy, and so thick hat we could hardly suck it through the straw.

Good old fashioned drive in, reminiscent of days gone by... stand in line out side to order then take your yummy burgers, fries, onion rings, sodas, milk shakes or sundaes to a picnic table and enjoy! The outside lines make it fun so we usually just do that on a nice day. But, the drive through moves pretty fast too.... More

I had heard that it went downhill after it changed ownership so I checked it out recently. It has changed a bit. One great change is that they now take debit. I got a triple cheese burger, onion rings and of course, a milkshake. The burger had much less sauce than I remember, which is definitely a step down. The... More
