This legendary drive-in on the Trans Canada Highway has a simple menu and delicious burgers and milkshakes. Whether you are a long-time Calgary resident or just passing through on your way to BC, this is a worthwhile stop.

The drive through makes it very efficient, but keep in mind the lines are around the block. I've only every tried the fries and the shake and they know how to make 'um. You can combine any flavors for the shake. I think there are a few hundred combos you can have. My favorite is coffee, and chocolate- Separate not... More

Peter's Drive Inn is amazing! Great food, friendly service, world's best milkshakes!!! They have loads of flavors to choose from plus you can put up to 3 different flavors in a single milkshakes. Bubblegum Oreo still tops my list of weird but tasty milkshakes. Can you make a better one?

Peter's is a unique location and has been around forever but is average at best. The burgers are dry and the fries are your typical frozen variety. I do like their Onion Rings though!

Peters has been a staple in Calgary for sometime. You can get a good deal for not too much coin. With the upgrade of debit it saves having to stop at the bank for a withdrawal.

Wonderful milkshakes - worth driving from anywhere in Calgary for. Fries were good but the burgers were not our favorite.

The portions here are huge! but the food is very good. Allow a little time, as there are usually lines due to the popularity of this place. Fun Fact: Peters Drive in donates food for the Annual Toy Campaign each December in Calgary. Feeding 4000-5000 children at this charity event.

I was born and raised in Calgary, been here for 42 of my 49 years and was really disappointed to learn that when I went there over the holidays that Peter's no longer serves their old style fries, they serve these small, thin, stringy things that have the texture and taste of card board. It was nice to see that... More

I love Peter's Burgers. They are messy but yummy. Generous portions. Never tried the shakes but there are a ton of flavours.

Reasonable prices but highly overated.milkshakes are great fries too many. Staff overworked. Entrance also difficult as you have to know where to enter as no direct entry to location from one direction
