I stopped at Peter's on a road trip from Toronto to Vancouver. I stopped because I heard this was a good place. Well for me this was a great place to stop. I drove through Calgary on Hwy. 1 and it was easy to find. It was really busy as I arrived there around noon. There were several windows open... More

The food is tasty, made to order, great burgers and milk shakes! Sat at one of the picnic tables and enjoyed our meal with friends. As the portions are large it makes them great to share.

It's been a while since I've gone here but decided to treat the family. Unfortunately it wasn't much of a treat. I was surprised that there was no line up on a Saturday at 8pm. Maybe me experience had been the same as others? The person working the drive-thru could not understand English and was hard to understand. I had... More

Located just into northeast Calgary on 16th Avenue (Trans Canada Hwy 1) located on the south side of the street, it is a great spot to stop and eat if you are traveling through on a roadtrip. Try to avoid arriving at noon as there will be a line-up! This place is always busy and with good reason. On one... More

Received a burger fries combo like you would make a home. It was hot and good. Both line ups were long and the wait long but I had to find out what the hoopla was all about. Just a novelty;try it to see the buzz. Would go back if it wasnt busy next time.

Peter's is an icon and great food. Our school ski trip busses from Edmonton would always stop at Peter's. The Triple Cheesburger is my favourite. Only thing that's changed in recent years is that Peter's now accepts Interac. Plastic card payment allowance is disapointing. Why? Being a tourist frequency eater of Peter's I enjoy parking and going in the outdoor... More

A great cheese burger experience. Long lineups always! The wait is worth it and now they take debit and credit cards too. For 40 years it was cash only. Just drive up to the speaker and let the order clerk know what you want. The milk shakes are thick, tasty and awesome.

Stopping at Peters used to be a treat for us on a trip home from the Rockies. Never again. The burgers were okay, but the fries were barely cooked; I could taste raw potato in the middle. I returned them to the counter and was given a new batch - I was promised that they were just out of the... More

This used to be a great place to grab a shake fries and burger. Since the original owner Gus Pieter's passed away and the drive in was passed onto the family the quality of product has really diminished. Fries are now shoestring and not crispy. Hamburgers are dry or completely over sauced. There is no consistency. A disappointment considering it... More

Doing a tour of Alberta and I certainly recommend this fast food spot!! The burgers are great and the milkshake menu is amazing!! They have every milkshake flavour known to mankind!!! The staff and service is friendly and it truly is fast food. Very popular amongst the locals and now I wish there was a Peter's Drive In at my... More
