The double cheese hamburgers with fried onions were delicious. The fries were cold and yucky when passed to me at the drive thru! Next time I will get the fries at McDonald's on the way home.

This eatery is overrated. When ordering burgers or hot dogs, you get a choice of 3 toppings! and all are mass manufactured, cheap choices (mustard, ketchup) on pre-formed cardboard meat patties. No fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onion, pickles, etc., just squish-on paste with advance ordering - pathetic. The milk shake choices are plenty, and that's where the recognition stops. No interest... We came across this place on our way around town, and the reviews looked good. As we wanted a snack instead of a full lunch, my husband and I split a burger and small fries with a milkshake - this was not a small amount of food!! The milkshake was approximately a litre, and the small fries were at least... More

After a 9+ hour flight from Glasgow to Calgary we stopped here on the recomendation of famliy we were visiting stating the best milkshakes and burgers in Canada, I was not dissapointed the milkshake was thick and the burgers were coated in some sort of BBQ sauce but utterly delicious, i have seen other people mention the portion of fries... 5 years ago this place was THE place to be. Now that the original owner has past. The hamburgers are 1/3 the size and the quality isn't there anymore. The milkshakes are the only reason I go there....they are still the best place to get on in Calgary

The place is super cute and the atmosphere take you to the 50, I recommend the milkshake, but I didn't like the burgers. I think despite my taste for the burger you should check it out for yourself and have this experience.

Shakes are fantastic, nice and thick. The portion size for their fries is massive, easily fed the four of us with plenty left over. Burgers are pretty good, I think they changed the type of bbq sauce on them a few years back, different than I remember growing up. Fast drive through service, I noticed the walk up lines seem... Peter's - an institution that will always have a line up - burgers come with a BBQ sauce on them and there is always an extra half patty on it. Fries are generous and hot. Milkshakes are made with real ingredients and you can mix and match (Chocolate/Banana always a winner)

Service: What a joke. Saturday at 11:45am. A couple cars at each window, and things are taking forever. I guess word is getting around. As I watch, the lady in front of me finally gets her order and drives forward but stops as she discovers she's missing a straw for her drink. She asks a walk-up customer to give her... More

I stopped at Peter's on a road trip from Toronto to Vancouver. I stopped because I heard this was a good place. Well for me this was a great place to stop. I drove through Calgary on Hwy. 1 and it was easy to find. It was really busy as I arrived there around noon. There were several windows open... More
