BEST MILKSHAKES ANYWHERE!!

A not to be missed old school drive in experience in the heart of Calgary. Often very busy so better if you are not in a big rush.Feels like going back in time.Numerous good things....love the milkshakes- so many different combinations to pick!

Still the best. messiest burgers you can get. (Have family in another province that buys the burgers in quantities when they are in Calgary to take home and freeze.) Great milkshakes.,

Over the years, Peter's Drive-In has stood as a landmark for people living in the south to gauge how close or far another location is to it. A great place for a million different milkshakes. The food is average, and I would actually say it has decreased in taste and quality over the years but visiting this place is more... More

When you talk about places in Calgary that you need to visit well Peter's Drive In is one of them. This place is a Calgary institution and you are not a true Calgarian or visitor to Calgary until you have had a Peter's Drive-In milkshake and burger. The milkshakes are great but are very thick! The burgers are not the... More

Every time I drive to the northeast part of Calgary I stop at Peter's for a hamburger and milkshake. This is the place for the best burger in town! I personally think their shakes are the best in town as well. If you haven't been to Peter's you should try it. It's popular and busy but worth the wait!

This is no new place for me, as I've come here for almost 20 years. Most often it would be on a return trip from the mountains before they built the Stoney Tr that now goes around it! However, I had given myself plenty of extra time to get to where I needed to go on a nice sunny Friday.... More

I know I am going against popular reviews on this restaurant but I was not impressed! The milkshakes were good, yes (very thick), and the onion rings were good although way too large a portion. The burgers on the other hand tasted like store bought frozen burgers...flat and processed and the fries were bland, limp an unsalted. 2 burgers, onion... More

My husband took our daughter and I for the first time when we were in Calgary recently and it was great! Good food, very large portions though. One order of fries can easily feed a family. Fantastic milkshake's. Fun treat!

Dear Lord, when I get to heaven, please let the food be as good as the food in Peters' Drive-In. Everything is really, really cheap for the amount they give you. Think Costco but for a fast food restaurant. The milkshakes in particular were memorable: on top of being huge, it was also incredible, INCredIBLY thick and creamy. Ice cream... More
