I go because of the location . I like the seating better than most places and the food is better than most. Service is friendly and usually pretty fast.
As we were very close by my daughter and grand daughter and I decided to stop at the Oriental Phoenix Restaurant. The service was quick and pleasant. We had tea and ordered three different appetizers, all of which we really enjoyed. Then we had soup everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our decision to stop for dinner.
Our visit in Calgary is not complete without dining in this Vietnamese restaurant. Had the chance to experience their Vietnamese food last 2011 and since then my husband and I always request for our dinner in this restaurant. We love Vietnamese food and we always enjoy our dining here. The ambience and atmosphere relates the aura of Vietnam with their... More
the food. Their sauce is the best sauce I have tasted anywhere! the portions have gotten a bit smaller with their new serving ware however you should not leave hungry. Had the shredded pork in rice wrappers - always nice rolled tight and filled with goodness. Had the deep fried spring rolls - nice and crispy and not oily. Had... More
We had been recommended Oriental Phoenix by a of couple people and so were excited to try it out. Walking in, the decor is impressive. Very beautiful. The food is always very good. Love the selection and prices. The people who work there need to take etiquette classes, every time I go they are very rude and slow.
Great menu with many choices for vegetarians and meat eaters. Food is hot, tasty and well prepared. Large restaurant, with adequate parking and convenient location. Never disappointed.
Love this place. I have had nothing but good experiences here. I've never ordered anything but a #19 (BBQ Pork and Spring Rolls on Vermicelli) because it's so damn good! Worth visiting...
The food quality here sucks. It's like the meat has been cooked two days ago and is so dry. And why is the chicken in the Lemongrass chicken dish orange? The last time I checked lemongrass is not orange.
