Did we come on an off day?

When I had more reason to be in this part of town we used to come here quite often and I remember the quality of the sushi to be higher than average. Not this time. I was disappointed with the not-so-fresh fish and soggy rice. The Rocky Mountain roll which used to be one of my favourites came with... read more

Service was crazy slow and there were only 4 tables seated with nobody at the bar. My wife found her Agadashi Tofu to have a synthetic/chemical aftertaste (??). My Inari tofu was a single tofu wrapper cut in HALF and they charged me for TWO!!?!? And lastly, they use cheap disposable chopsticks for dinning-in. Weird!?! Please buy some washable chopsticks... We order suishi and some sashimi. My boyfriend had a lot of sashimi because he was really hungry. I noticed the fish is not very fresh. He got food position after all.

Whenever I crave for sushi, tempura, or takoyaki, this is the first place that will came into my mind. I also love their homemade green tea ice cream. The employees are friendly and are always smiling. Their prices are also reasonable for their servings.

The Tempura was great but it was all downhill from there. The Miso soup was cold, The Chicken Teriyaki for $10.95 could easily have passed for a $2.49 microwave meal. Horrible! The sushi was fairm but small portions and some items suspiciously "warm"

Try the bento boxes! I had the Bento Special, the Sushi Bento and the Midori House Special. Fish is fresh, and presentation is very good. The green tea is really good. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is very small, and it can be crowded sometimes, but its worth it. Waitress gives you lots of time to look at the menu,... More

I have eaten here several times. Food presentation is nice but the quality is slipping. Last night the rice was not nice and the fish was just ordinary.

this place is really terrible in my books. not friendly, not clean, and the food is just...not good. after waiting for a menu for 15 minutes, waiting for someone to take our order for another twenty plus minutes, waiting for our food to never arrive for another half hour at least, then telling us we would have to reorder because... We didn't have much expectation but the food was shockingly bad. The sushi was o.k ( not wow) but the ramen was just a shock. They use a dollar instant noodle and the flavor and charge over 9$ for ramen. This was the worst japanese ramen in my life ever in and out of canada. Total ripped off.

This restaurant can be hard to spot as it's a small cafe but judging from the number of people that constantly came in, I could tell it's a favourite amongst people. Inside there just a few booths and seating by the counter and we were lucky to snag the booth right by the door around noon. The waitress came by... More
