La Brezza, meaning ocean breeze, is considered to be one of Calgary's finest Italian restaurants. Opened in 1987 and still in its original location - once the owners house, La Brezza continues to offer an elegantly simple Italian cuisine, emphasizing traditional home-cooked goodness. You can enjoy a satisfying lunch and dinner menu with daily specials and you can even indulge on Sundays as we are one of the few local restaurants open 7 days a week. We pride ourselves in offering great food, great service, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. See you soon!

We love Italian food, and have gotten spoiled by restaurants that make their own pasta. With so many choices why would you go to an "Italian" restaurant that serves dried, store bought pasta. La Brezza offers home made pasta, and from what I gathered from the rest of our visit, home made everything. They brought out fresh focaccia bread for... More

The people working at this restaurant are down to earth people. The lady (I think manager) is always smiling recognized us when we go in and is always very friendly to our daughter. The waiter is also exceptionally friendly and helpful and always offers good advice. The size of the restaurant is nice and intimate. The staff was very flexible... More

Went here for the first time and it won't be the last. The food was great and the service was friendly and attentive. I had the cannelloni and can recommend it, my friend had the veal special and loved it. Really great experience and will definitely go again.

This is not a food experience that causes you to be in awe with its menu choices let alone quality. The Chef needs training. Avoid the rack of lamb. Don't bother. You will be disappointed.

I took my girlfriend here for a special dinner then proposed to her after. This place is amazing, although a tad pricey. Great, homemade food, would definitely go back! Very prompt service. It's an old converted house in the heart of Bridgeland, so its very charming, there are only like 12 tables, so it has great little atmosphere.

Stopped by a few times and they were fully booked. It is still a great place. We ordered: Gamberi Portofino, Fettuccini Brezza, Pesce Basa, the feature dinner of shrimp with pasta, Tiramisu, and Crepes Alla. All was very good. Professional service through out the meal. Filomena stopped to say hi. Will try to not make it so long between visits.

The calamari was good but everything else was rather bland. We shared a Caesar salad; the menu states that the dressing is homemade but there was definitely no garlic or anchovies in it as is normal in a traditional Caesar dressing. I then had the Fettucine Alla Brezza and it was also very bland - a few big pieces of... More

Here for family wedding and found this little place for a family supper. Great service Thanks to the owner for stopping in and asking us what we really thought of our meal

For years we've been coming to La Brezza. My husband and I had the pasta, very bland not tasty and pricey. Disappointing in light of the passing of owner Marco. We will likely not be back.
