Pretty good overall

Dinner on a Wednesday evening with a co-worker. Food was very tasty, menu had a good selection, drinks were good, staff were friendly and efficient, acoustics were really bad....the roar of conversation made it very difficult to talk which was unpleasant. My throat is still sore from having to... read more

very late at night when I went, patio was closed. server's name was amber or something along hose lines. I think the restaurant as closed to closing so the service was slower. food was good though, I had a burger and a Moroccan soup, and good atmosphere to get a drink. Joey's is usually pretty good

Waitresses tend to appear as if they have just walked out of a fashion magazine. Drinks are drinks.. how wrong can you be pouring a beer? It's for those that like this sort of crowd and have no taste for value or food. Ate there 3 times before saying "no more", it's not good. Anyone can dip hot sauce over... More

We were very impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Everyone's meal was excellent from the sandwiches to the ravioli entree. We ordered two desserts to share and they were both very delicious - Italian donuts and chocolate souffle. I ordered a sangria to drink and it was very good and loaded with fruit on the inside. Excellent... More

We had a pretty good meal here yesterday, serving staff extremely friendly. We started with some Italian flatbread - which was very good and didn't overdo it on the cheese. We both had chicken as a main, the rotisserie chicken and the butter chicken, very moist and tasty....! Of course we couldn't end without tasting gather "Happy Ending" which was... More

Joey's in the attractive Eau Claire market area near Prince Island in the Bow River makes a good attempt to be trendy ... Real or more likely pseudo converted industrial style harbour building, lots of large TV screens on the walls, black leather, scores of attractive young waitresses in slightly too tight black dresses. Attracts a mostly young crowd but... More

Went here for a meal and was first of all not pleased with the prices - a tad high for the food we received, Mostly though was disgusted to have buns etc that all smelled strongly of seafood, especially when we don't eat seafood. We just picked at our meals and had to leave them as we could not stomach... More

Ducked in here in a cold rainy evening not expecting much and ended up having a great meal! Try the ravioli with scallops!

Pretty good - had a chicken sandwich and fries. Sandwich was pretty good. Fries were average. Service good and friendly. Ate in the bar area as I was by myself.

Generally, this is a very good restaurant, but I find that attention to detail always seems to prevent it from getting that extra star to bump it to "excellent". The food itself is generally excellent, and I find the companies effort to reach out to the vegetarian and gluten-free community by making special menus for them fabulous and they should... More
