Great Find

This restaurant seems to go by the name of The Carmichael now, it changed in 2013 but still known in general as Jacqueline's. Had a reservation for two of us, sat upstairs and had the area to ourselves. Although the server was busy he was still very attentive. For the starter we had the... read more

Located on the main strip in Inglewood, close to public parking. The restaurant has a nice French influenced decor and is in an older building, good for a couples night out. The food is good quality, with manageable portions and decent prices. Mains are within market price (on the upper side) and appetizers and salads are a bit overpriced for... More

My wife and I were here a year ago and the service and food were top notch. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary, and without fail, the service and food were again top notch. We look forward to the next visit.

Had breakfast on Saturday morning, Sept 26/15. The eggs bennie are among the best in the city. The decor is elegant. The staff, especially the new manager, are great, friendly and efficient.

Did not meet expectations The interior is warm and cozy and thought the food would match. We came about 1:30 and ordered.Butternut Squash and Goat Cheese Ravioli -$24.00, Lox and Bagels - $15.25 came with soup (Prime Rib). The soup was the best part, lots of meat and mushrooms and a tasty broth. The lox were on a small non-toasted... More

I have been going to this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. When we arrived the restaurant was full but were seated right away. There was only one server on and guy who was standing there doing nothing but watch the server be run ragged. With this said she (Kari) did an amazing job managing the workload. With no... More

Mar 17th saw us celebrating a friend's birthday on St. Paddie's Day. Waitress was a delight and took care of us very well. We had the Tues. prime rib special for two and it was done to perfection. Restaurant name change to 'Carmichael's' brings fresh panit, new pix and lighting creating a homey, yet open environment. Perhaps a higher cost... More

We have been dining at js for years now and have never been disappointed. This is our " go to" place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. The service was excellent and the prime rib was amazing and done to perfection. This occasion we celebrated our youngest daughters 25th birthday. Thanks for making the evening special!

The ambiance is incredible at this restaurant but on my last visit I found the food was not as good. It is still good food but may be slipping a little as it had been excellent in the past. The 'special appetizer' was not very good and if I rated this restaurant just on this item I would have given... More

If you're not careful, you'll walk right past it as at first glance it looks like an antique store. It has so much character, and always great service, it's one of my favourite places in the city! And their Sunday night prime roasts with Yorkshire pudding are even almost as good as my dad's, which is saying a lot! A... More
