The Cattle Baron at 3340 26th St NE is in a good sized restaurant with leather and wood accents and a western theme. They also have a full bar and lounge where meals are served if you desire an “adults only” crowd. The Cattle Baron is very casual serving lunch and dinner. They have an extensive wine menu and a... Nice atmosphere, friendly, relaxed & casual. No need to get all dressed up. Jeans are welcome, as are cowboys. Service is very good. The food was great.

It doesn't look much when you drive up (kind of off the beaten path) but it's pretty nice inside. They have two different areas with deep wood colors and overall very attractive. We sat in the lounge area which kids aren't allowed so they are saying it's quieter in there. The steak was excellent as was the service. Worth a... More

Yes, don't go to a steak house and eat something else. But we were sick of steaks and I had sea food and the wife had some chicken wonton thing. Both were great. Nice spot . Great waiters. I'll never be back, but go here if you get a chance.

This was our first and only day in Calgary and we wanted to make sure we had a taste of some renowned western Canada beef. I thought it would be easy to find a steak house in Calgary where we could be sure of eating local beef but boy was I wrong! So after reading many reviews and advertisements we... More

Three of us went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. The service was very friendly, attentive and efficient. We ordered the short dry ribs and the lamb lolli-pops for starters followed by the 10oz New York peppercorn steak, the baron cut prime rib of beef and the 20oz cowboy cut rib steak. All of the meats were great and... More

We attended with a party if 9 and were seated promptly. Our server was fantastic looking after everyone's requests. The food was great, from the chicken to the pasta, and of course the beef. The three generations of people at our table all thoroughly enjoyed there meals. Did I mention the service was fantastic. We have been going here for... More

We travel to Alberta every January for cross country skiing. We reward ourselves and end every trip with dinner at the Cattlebaron, never disappoints!
