Funky Burger Shack

Was on a YYC Burger Tour with my cousin from Ireland and we made a stop into Boogies. Great ambience and menu selection. Staff were really laid back and super helpful. Had always drove by this place and never noticed it before. Definitely glad I stopped in to check it out.

Checked it out as it was on You Gotta Eat Here, and it wasn't too bad. The burgers are MASSIVE. Our little guy had a Creamsicle shake, and it was spot on. Decent prices and burgers. ☺

I love Boogies Burgers. Their fries could be a little crispier but the burgers are excellent. They cook them up pretty quickly and the staff have a bit of attitude but in a friendly, adding to Boogie's charm kind of way. There's lots of good flavours for milkshakes too. Go here instead of that other place that shall remain nameless... More

I heard tons of great things about Boogie's Burgers so a friend and I stopped in to check it out when we were in the area. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great - it was busy and I absolutely loved the whole retro aspect (especially the order line) They make some great milkshakes and offer a huge selection of... Minus the elegant ambiance, this is the place to go when you want a good tasting burger. The bells & whistles go with the food and service. They have a good selection of burgers so each of us ordered something different, I ended up with the Salmon Burger which was really good combined with their flavored fries. The shakes are... More

They are dirty, awesomely disgusting diner burgers. And if you're looking for a heartattack in a bun go here. They set themselves apart from the regular burger chains by having a unique selection of toppings (including a beef hotdog which was actually delicious) - and surprisingly respectable shoestring fries and shakes. All set in a quirky rockabilly-esque environment. I loved... More

I have never have tried so many variety of unique and tasty burgers as I have had a at Boogies. The shakes alone are worth the trip. It's just something you have to experience if you visit Calgary.

Went here with a friend on a whim and truly appreciated how laid back and cool the place was. Prices are very affordable and the quality is really nice! You can tell things are prepared fresh and not from frozen. I ordered Fay's favourite with spicy fries and my friend ordered boog-mack and we both enjoyed our meals. The spicy... More

I have wanted to try boogies out forever. I was surprised by the unique burgers that they offered. A little more than I wanted to spend but was totally worth it. I will be brining my family back again soon.

My husbands birthday was on a Monday. So I took him out for lunch. I told him to grab a bunch of quarters because I was taking him out. Boogies Burgers has a lot of old video games :) The service was great as usual and beating my husband at Donkey Kong made it even better!
