I was in Calgary on business working in the southeastern part of town. The area is mostly an industrial sector with very few commercial locations. Finding food during the day around this area is challenging. I luckily found Big Rock Brewery. Sadly as it was lunch time and I was working, I did not get to try any of their... More

I came in with a couple of friends for lunch and I was so impressed! Servers were warm and welcoming! Very knowledgeable of the menu which was great! I had the smoked salmon and it was the best I've ever had! Super fresh! My two other friends had the Lamb burger and the Turduckin pie! They both finished it all... More

I was in town for a business trip and stopped in for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant. The meal I had was excellent and the service was prompt and efficient. I hope to return in the near future.

My wife and I went here for lunch on a Friday. I had the bratwurst platter and thoroughly enjoyed it. There wasn't a ton of food but but was presented nicely and and the two types of meat were delicious, as was the sauerkraut. My wife had lobster bisque and salad. She thought the bisque might have had some lobster... More

I had the Alberta AA Sirloin Steak “Poivre” for lunch and was blown away! The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Next time I definitely want to check out the brewery and go on a beer tour. Whether you're a local or visitor to Calgary, you're going to want to check out Big Rock!

I ordered the daily special which was a vegetarian curry pie combo with lobster bisque soup, everything came to the table quickly and was hot and delicious. The service was top notch, defiantly one of my favorite unique lunch spots that I try to visit once a month.

Came in with some friends and had a Schnitzel Burger and Rock Creek Cider. Perfect 10/10, totally worth the trip.

I work close by the brewery and it's an easy place to go but still deserve lots of compliments when I bring traveling colleagues with me. The staff do the extra mile to serve you as best as they can. The food is always good. I had an elk and buffalo tourtiere this week and it was outstanding.

Had some amazing Turducken as well as a french tourtiere pie with Big Rock's Life of Chai beer. Very nice! The meat was super tender, juicy, and full of flavour. Met the head chef (Harry) and manager (Markus) as well. They were both very friendly. Harry is a master of meat-combo-synthesis. The food goes great with the beers they brew.... More
