A friend took me for my birthday. We decided to order 3 appetizers with our 1/2 liter of wine. Too much food for sure. Nicely presented with great flavour; the calamari was especially good as was the pita sampler with 3 dips of choice. It's in a small strip mall rather hidden in a community but very easy to find.

Pegasus moved to a new location recently, and it is classier, cleaner, and quieter. The food remains wonderful, and the service seems to have improved! The servers are knowledgeable about the wine and the food, and the feel is very much friendly and welcoming. It would be easy to become a regular here!

We have been regular customers at Pegasus over the years and love the food there! There signature dish, kleftiko is amazing...tender slow roasted lamb is always a good choice. The award winning moussaka is a must try for those who enjoy moussaka. The Greek salad is one that I enjoy regularly along with all of the appies. Regarding the comments... More

First off, we really liked Mykonos Restaurant and, since it closed, were looking for a good Greek restaurant to replace it. We thought we would try Pegasus since it seems to be voted as the best Greek restaurant in the city. We ordered the Mezethes appetizer platter. It was fairly good but expensive. The food was quite greasy and therefore... More

Friends of mine took me here on my visit. It's WELL worth the visit and nicer than supporting the big brand names that all cities have. We had the appetizer platter - great sharing for 3-4 people. The main courses were robust in size and hardy in flavour. Desserts are just the right size for single serve or get two... More

My mistake, I "assumed" when ordering take out for a dinner party of 10 people that you would get vegetables. Having dined at Pegasus in its original location many times and other Greek restaurants around Calgary, I did not realize that when you order dinner entrées now from Pegasus including Moussaka, salmon and several others (12 in total so that... Consistently excellent Greek food in Altadore. The owners ran the old Pegasus on 14th Street. The souvlaki is great, as are the meatballs and the Greek salad. We even tried some Greek red wine, which was also good. We've been back a few times and it's always good. Small, neatly modest room, family run and pretty busy. Try it.

I've eaten here three times in two months, so I obviously like it. The food is fresh and very tasty, the service is good, and the atmosphere is comfortable. After dinner you can take a stroll in the river valley - only 2 blocks away. It can be busy on weekends, so reservations are wise.

Lovely friendly and helpful waiter but there's some definite misses here on the tapas menu. That Yorkshire pudding pita is just plain strange - super greasy and I wonder what a real Greek would have to say about it. Lemon potatoes cold. Saginaki really greasy as well. Meatballs were okay but also lukewarm. Didn't have entrees - hope for their... More

The service and atmosphere were very good. The night we went they had live music performed by the Rembetika Hipsters. Both the owners of Pegasus and owners of Santorini greek restaurant enjoyed the music with their food and wine. The calamari was quite fresh tasting, and the lamb shoulder (kleftiko), as well as the lamb shank (arniso kotsi), were quite... More
