Too much hype

Over priced for over rated food. My brisket had no taste and chicken was dry and hard to chew, again with no flavor, had to soak it in barbeque sauce for taste. Regrets but will not stop again.

My go-to place in Calgary for smoked meat sandwiches. I take visitors here to get a taste of the best Calgary BBQ. A fun atmosphere and a very cool interior. You need to go here!

The rating for this restaurant is really only based on the food - it's excellent. We were hosting a group so we phoned ahead and had them have 6 dozen ribs and 9 sides ready for us. I have to say that they were ready for me at the agreed to time and I was in and out in less... More

Love the pulled pork here. It’s the best I’ve eaten in Calgary and I love all of the homemade sauces. They also have beef and ribs as main dishes if you aren’t in the mood for pulled pork. They have a variety of sides like coleslaw, baked beans, chilli, corn bread, fries, milkshakes, and lemonade. Everything I’ve tried so far... More

I found the BBQ here to be quite tasty. I always have the pulled pork and hubby has tried everything (I think). I like the choice of sauces, and they always allow us to take extra with our takeout. I really like the corn bread, which is a sweeter version than I have previously had. And you can't beat the... More

Meat was good albeit a bit fatty. Baked beans have a strong molasses flavor. Numerous kinds of sauces offered if you like sauce on your meat.

Pulled up to this location and was quite nervous about trying it since it's not in the greatest location. However, as soon as we opened the door and smelled the food, we knew it was going to be good. We had the Meat Sundae, the Manwich and a Pulled Pork sandwich, plus sides of corn bread and macaroni salad. Everyone... More

You get a good portion for what you pay, the meat isn't oily at all! I do like how you get to put sauce on but I wish they would flavour the meat a little. The buns however were so good, I've never had a pulled pork on a bun with the bun that good!

I was told that Holy Smoke had the best ribs in town - they may be. Huge and tender - you order them by the number you want and then can select any of 15 different sauces to try with them - from sweet to screaming hot. I guess that Holy Smoke has three locations now; this one is more... More

This is a great restaurant to go to if you like smoked meat sandwiches. The sandwich can be purchased with sides. Great for family or business.
