Special Dinner

Such a nice place. Good food, good atmosphere. Came here with my family. The shoestring fries are a must try. A nice place for a special meal.

Great place to go for dinner - make sure you make reservations as the restaurant is small and cozy! The menu changes and the food is really good! Great service and always friendly .

I was in a rush and needed to be in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes. I asked if this was possible and was told that it was. I was not disappointed. I ordered the fish of the day - salmon. It was excellent! Accompanied by a glass of Muscadet, it was an exceptional lunch. Not inexpensive, but... More

The food and service at this Calgary gem is astonishing. It was the last day of the Calgary Stampede and we wanted to have a fun and casual dinner. What a success the food was absolutely top notch and observing the staff ... They were so very busy yet smiles and attentiveness was the order of the day. Great Management... More

There is nothing quite like French food and our experience while dinning here was nothing but fantastic. The food is rich and flavorful. We stopped in for a late brunch. I had the vegetarian selection and always worry it will lack in taste when going this route. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is classy and yet laid back. Very... More

Cassis is a gem of a French bistro in an unlikely location. A short distance from the downtown core of Calgary, cassis offer exquisite food in an atmosphere that feels French 9and Restoration hardware). As a resident of the city, it is a favourite restaurant. The steak tartare is extraordinary. You cannot find better in France.

I've eaten at Cassis about 50 times since it opened and honestly have never had a bad meal. I've tried basically everything on the menu (at least once) and am always so happy to have had the opportunity to eat such delicious food. The owners, the chefs and the staff all do a great job of making each experience special.... More

5 of us had dinner at Cassis last night. The overall impression was that appetizers were very nice but the main courses were disappointing. more specifically, we loved the pea raviolis, and the eggplant "tapenade". The steak frites were ordered with "beurre maitre d'hotel" which is supposed to be a simple square of butter with parsley and a dash of... More

Very few vegetarian options, but what I had was very tasty. The olive tapenade could have been a little more tangy - add a few capers would be my suggestion. The rest of the food was very good, the soup & the cheese plate were great - but to be honest - a little unimaginative. I should have had the... More
