Great food

The food is great, interesting wine list but the service can be a little condescending. They are extremely busy, so often you can feel like you are being rushed through the meal.

I visited Cassis Bistro with friends for Brunch. They were unwilling to accommodate a simple menu modification due to an allergy or to provide a separate bill for each couple. Also, i emailed them afterwards and received no response. They clearly do not care about the service their patrons receive.

This is a classic French bistro. We practically eat there once a week. The menu is limited in scope and changes frequently. Every dish we have ever had has been classically delicious. Two dishes always on the menu include steak frites and beef tartar. The steak frites is exactly like you would find it in a bistro in France. According... More

A great addition to the neighbourhood. Staff exceptional especially the owners. Wonderful for lunch or dinner. Have had many many delicious meals.

My wife had recently discovered this hot spot, and encouraged me to give it a try this past Friday evening. So, without a reservation, we decided to see if we could get a table for two. Upon arrival, the place was packed and hopping, but the friendly manager found us a couple of seats at the bar. We found the... More

This for me was such a pleasure just sitting & closing my eyes I would have sworn I was in France. I felt like a tourist in my own home town. Started with a double espresso & perfect beans from next door Fratello. Quick look & easy decisions Beef tartare au couteau - Alberta Prime beef & duck fat potato... More

Hit and miss. Some visit are great, others not as much. Menu constantly has missing items, wine list is grossly overpriced. Portions got smaller and pricier over time.

Sharing my dining experience: loud, pretty tight space, very LIMITED food selection and average quality of meals (as reflected in the rating). Not much of french cuisine...Probably worth 65% of money we paid.

ATE there wednesday evening 25 feb, the food was delicious, and the service great. Small noisy place crowded friendly tables. They knew how to make Kir Royale. abundance of fizzy water and still for which you are charged a dollar per person. they had run out of the dessert I wanted Paris Brest, but the Creme Brûlée was delicious. The daily... More

I had not been at Cassis for a while, that is, until yesterday when I ate lunch and dinner there. I had the quiche du jour for lunch. The mixed salad that came with the quiche was excellent as per usual. One thing that I love about Cassis is their salad dressings. It seems to perfectly cover the salad and... More
