Awesome soup dumplings!

The dishes here are served piping hot and the veggies are fresh cut, and cooked just right. The soup dumplings are a little different from the ones served at Din Tai Fung, but still quite good.

Haven't been back for a couple years after getting raw Shaomai at lunch. Tried again tonight for take away and sent hubby back with the whole order. Egg rolls have NO filling with half inch casing of some kind of weird wrapping. Spit out egg shells in the Foo Young in the second bite. Ginger Chicken gets stuck between the... More

Food was poor and restaurant is not clean. If you like to walk on sticky carpet and sit in chairs that 10 years ago should have been sent to the dump this restaurant is for you. They just need a pet store nearby to really top off this awesome experience.

I have been here twice since they moved from their original location. Food is good but the restaurant is a little crowded, and its tricky to get in to park as you can only access the perking lot when heading south on Macleod Trail.

Their dim sum selection is small, but it's well done, and it's items I like. In general, I find their food to be of good quality and the service excellent. Really good place for a business lunch.

Food was excellent. The lady owner is rude beyond belief. I always tip the server in cash. SHE HAD THE AUDACITY IN FRONT OF OTHERS...to confront me why I didn't like the food. I told her it was good. "Well if it was good why is there no tip attached to the atm payment". 1st it's not my practice to... More

I have been a customer at Ginger Beef for many years........while they were in Willow Park Village. They have now moved. I went in and ordered take-out today. It was absolutely the worst food I have ever ordered, AND had the privilege of paying for????? It took forever - 25 minutes stretched into 40. I got home, and one of... More

New location near Schanks is a little smaller but quality is still there. Prices have crept up a little but that's true of a lot of restaurants. Service is still very quick - except for Fridays - and portions are a little larger for sit-down than take out. They've been around a long time and with good reason - consistently... More

Ginger beef Peking house in Calgary to the best of my knowledge are the actual inventors of ginger beef. I have been coming to this restaurant for years 20 years plus and I've always enjoyed it however my most recent visit last night was a very disappointing experience. First of all the prices are absolutely atrocious most dishes are in... More
