You won't miss the yellow house. Lots of choices for the macaroon and simply the best..even the pastry and bread. A bit pricey but totally would come back.

I loved the tarts. Imaginative and delicious!!! Macrons are ok. I am partial to the ones at Laudree (none have ever compared).

I love, love, love Yann Haute Patisserie, from the bread, to the pain au chocolat and last but not least the macarons!! I lived a year and Paris and can say that the macarons here are second only to Laduree. My favorite saveur is fruit de passion, they absolutely melt in your mouth. I buy them by the dozen! My... Yes, you do want to visit the slightly hidden bright yellow house hiding around a corner from 4th Street at 23rd ave, next time you're in Mission. The gals behind the counter are happy to explain what is contained in each of the colorful concoctions that are in the glass cases. Service is also available en francais, s'il vous plait!... More

This is, without a doubt, the best pastry shop in Calgary. Today I was with my sister and her family so we got 6 macarons, a pistachio cake, a pistachio/raspberry tartlet and a chocolate coconut croissant. It was all to die for. My little niece rarely likes new things but she got hold of the macarons and ate almost all... More

Yann is great: one of my two favourite bakeries in town. Their croissants are the best in Calgary, especially the coco-chocolate one, and their array of genuine French treats are fantastic. Geraldine, the owner, is also fun to chat with. Note that this is a pickup-and-go place only, not a cafe with sit-down service. Get your treat -- or your... More

This was one of the stops on the Culinary Treasure Hunt we participated in this past week. After seeing all the lovely looking delicacies we decided to stop for a snack break after we finished our task. I tried the salted caramel macaroon and it was chewy, sweet, salty and damn good...I let hubs have a bite but he wasn't... More

Have been on a bit of a rampage trying Macarons in every city I visit. So far, Yann Haute wins hands down for consistency, flavour range and mouth feel. A winner every time! The selection of all baked goods is impressive and every time I ogle their exquisite creations I fantasize about throwing it all away to learn to bake... More

I finally tried this place, located in a brightly colored house in my old neighbourhood. I was eagerly wanting to try the pastries. Its a cute place, and looks great inside. The server had no idea what any of the pastries what, other than what was obvious. Another customer in fact corrected her. We took a few home, and they... More
