Well we arrived quite late to meet our friends, they were there for an hour or 2 before us. The kitchen was closing , but they accommodated us & took our order, and it was very delicious.

Let me start with the hostess. Hostesses can make or break a restaurant. Literally, think about it; you call a restaurant and a snobby girl tells you there is no chance you're getting in. You are annoyed and never call back. Or you call Charcut, they tell you that they are packed but ask;"could you be finished in 1.5hrs?" Of... More

My job takes me to restaurants on a fairly regular basis and as such it is easy to forget the simple pleasures about restaurants, amazing flavors and social vibes. You end up getting caught up in many aspects of the industry. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always buzzing and gives off a very vibrant feel. Lots of modern touches... More

We eat at Charcut Restaurant every time we happen to be in Calgary and it is not often enough ! I had the best chicken there and the charcuterie board is awesome. The service is always very attentive . I've never had anything close to a bad experience at Charcut! Looking forward to our next trip to Calgary to have... More

Tonight, I found myself sitting at the kitchen bar eating while the Chef Ike and the kitchen crew prepared amazing meals. It was a great evening. The atmosphere is electric. The plates are works for art and the food is wonderful. I recommend the kitchen bar. Watching Chef Ike and his crew was just an amazing experience. The team work... More

The food is amazing but I strongly recommend to share as everything is too big. Even the siders are for at least 2-3 persons. For example, you can order 1 sider with 3 different main meal and you would have enough for 3 persons. It is a little pricey so don't order too much - share share share.

Perfect location in Le Germain, fully buzzy place, staff are good, Happy friendly and know their wines and food here. No here's the rub, food is ok - my server thought he was gods gift to wine, he did well to start with but if it didn't work for him it didn't work for him! Shame! Would I rave about... More

Food is good but the atmosphere and feel is one of arrogance . Not impressed. Have tried on 4 different occasions and that's more than enough. So many awesome other places to go in Calgary and the Core.

The menu is very limited. I only eat seafood but went with my friends anyway because they all wanted to go and the only fish they has was all gone and they had no alternative for me so I ended up drinking wine and watching my friends eat.
