Absolutely Fabulous Food - Average Service

After we were finally seated 25 minutes after our reservation, our server, Zack, was mildly attentive and not relatable. I would expect a higher level of service from a restaurant of this caliber. This was my first time dining at Charcut, yet we have stayed at Le Germain numerous times... read more

Must, must MUST try the poutine and the roasted chicken! Hell, go big and try a big portion of the menu as I did. I promise it will knock your socks off!

8 family members on a Tuesday evening. Half of us were disappointed with our main meals for some very good reasons especially the quality of the quite expensive food. Salads and 2/4 sides were good. Not worth the $750 spent. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and communicated very well and very completely. Too bad the chef/cooks did not... More

This was my first time at Charcut Roast House. Having heard good things from a myriad of sources, my expectations were high going in, and I am pleased to report that they were exceeded. The restaurant itself is metallic with the softness of wood, creating an instant feeling of comfort and warmth. The kitchen is open, which is always a... More

I went to Charcut a few years ago and was not a fan, but went back the other night and the food totally blew me away. We ordered the prime rib, brussel sprouts, poutine and the roasted carrots. I tried everything, but the carrots. Every single dish was flavourful and cooked to perfection. We finished our dinner with the French... More

We were a group of eight, and in the end we were all disappointed. It started really well with delicious starters on the house. We were then sold a sampling menu under the pretence that we would get to test most of the mains on the menu. Given the excellent start this seemed like a great idea. We clarified that... More

Went for a birthday gathering with a large group of friends. Food was excellent and service was amazing! Menu is pricy but fits with the more fine dining atmosphere. Many items are best shared as a group.

Went here for the first time and what a great choice. We had a large charcuterie board that has a selection of 5 meats. All delicious. We had several of their in house signature cocktails which were all worth it. If you like meat and liquor, go here!
