Well here is an example of a great place that let it go. We were surprised that they no longer took reservations. In the past if you didn't have a reservation you MAYBE got some food, We first started coming here 2 years ago. What kept us coming back was the food which was AMAZING.2 years ago. Tonight there was... More

I had heard from many sources that this was one of the best restaurants in Calgary, so the expectation level was high before going. Fully agreeing with other reviewers that the location is odd (inside a hotel), and the operation hours are really tight (5pm to 830pm, Monday-Saturday) and there is very limited seating space (I would say 30-35 people... Reservations are no longer accepted so don't bother phoning. This is family owned and operated. They have limited the tables to what the family can handle. Opens at 5 pm so be there! If you arrive at 6, expect a longer wait. The food is excellent.

The food is very good - notably, the tom yum, pad thai, green curry and green papaya salad. We ordered a stir-fry, which was good and tasty, but something you can get from a Chinese restaurant, so probably stay away if you have other choices. Aside from the slow service, inability to make reservations (because no one ever picks up... More

I wasn't going to write anything about this place because I will have a hard time being positive, but I feel I have to put something on the scale against all these raving reviews (the reason WE went to this restaurant). The location is odd, but that's okay, the interior however is just apalling. Service unprofessional (waiters look like family... More

My fiance and I came here after travelling in Thailand, and were impressed by how authentic the food was and how much we felt like we were eating in thailand. Will definately return to this restaurant many times. The location is a little odd, but it gives it charactar.

The food is very good as most people indicate in their reviews. The problems with this place range from the sub-standard location, extremely slow and poor service and the issue with attempting to make reservations. They have 2 reservation numbers and with each of them there is rarely an answer. The phone goes into voicemail where the message is that... More

We went there for one of our friend's birthday. We had reserved for 8 people. We arrived on time but they told us that they did not have space for us and if we wanted to stay we had to sit on 2 separated tables in each corner of restuarant!!! There were some 7-8 group of people arrived later than... More

Highly recommend - if you are looking for Thai food and near the airport. The restaurant is simple, but clean.

We had to drive around the block a couple times to find White Elephant, which is nestled down a small unidentified hallway in the Pointe Inn hotel. Complete with plastic replicas of the meal options in a display case in front and a 1000 option menu, the food was what we hoped. Delicious, plentiful, and easy to share with our... More
