I like thin crust pizza. My favourite place for years was The Pizza Joint, but in the 1960's a new kid on the block appeared, Tom's House of Pizza. Not long after that the Pizza Joint was sold and closed, and Toms became the only place to get good thin crust pizza. Toms has a great menu with many choices... More

We tried Tom's after a 15 year hiatus after our first less than appetizing visit. I can report that nothing has changed other than the prices have gone up. As one other person notes, the pizza is dry, the toppings are not cooked thoroughly and there isn't enough sauce or cheese. This may appeal to some but not this reviewer.

Gave Tom's 4-stars only because it is not an original pizza located in Italy. Only original pizzerias in Italy get 5 stars from me. But Tom's is very good - better than most. This review is for the MacLeod Trail South location (not listed) but in my experience, Tom's is consistent from location to location. First, it is a thin-crust... More

I'm a little biased as I've been going to Tom's at various locations around Calgary for more than 25 years, but as far as I'm concerned they cook the best pizza in the city. It's thin crust with cheese and then toppings over top, so there's no doughy or gooey cheese feeling. This location has a decent little restaurant with... More

Their pizza is as close to the best that you can get. The fresh ingredients, thin crust & speed of service is rated excellent. The only fault I could add is without extra cheese added, the pizza is a little dry. The resturant itself could used a renovation because the tables & seats at the booyhs are worn out.

This Tom's location is tops. The service, cleanliness and food quality are very good. Pizza is thin crust style so not as heavy as others.
