We only had one night to stay but is was great

A beautiful hotel. Peaceful setting right beside the bow river. We did not have our swim suits but the pool area was very nice, will bring our suits next time. They serve tea in the lobby each day with a nice comfortable sitting area. We cross country skied right from the hotel. The staff was... read more

We ate one night at this restaurant and the food and service were exemplary. They had a varied menu, great desserts and a very extensive wine cellar/list. We ordered veal tenderloin which was well prepared and the black cod which was truly exceptional.

We stayed couple of nights at the Post Hotel over New Year and went for their New Year gala. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive. The New Years Gala was excellent, with good quality food and wonderful atmosphere ensuring we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.. The hotel takes pride in its wines and there is a massive wine list,... More

Fabulous room and view at the restaurant. Food was fine but by no means outstanding. Service is OK, but not great. Server was Asian and it was difficult to understand her and I don't think she understood English very well. When I pay top dollar I expect excellent service and delicious food, it was just average.

Here is the best meal in Lake Louise complimented by the best service. The chef usually has a surprise and it is worth ordering. Veal tenderloin Zurich style and the Stroganoff turned out delicious. Salads and appetizers are big enough you can split a plate. It takes both hands just to lift the wine list. This is a very fine... More

The proprietors are in the house and it shows. The Post Hotel has consistently been the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It is well maintained; the rooms are immaculate; the service is excellent; the facilities (pool, exercise room, skating rink, ski storage room, library) are useful and top shelf. The food is pricey but what would you expect... More

So nice to go to an old fashioned, ssmall quality hotel that takes pride in great service. The big fireplace was warm and welcoming, the staff effecient and friendly, and the atmosphere just great. We were two adults and two well- behaved children and felt very welcome.

We ate in Banff and at Chateu ... This hands down was the best meal that we had during our trip. Our only regret was that we found out about this restaurant toward the end of our trip. The caribou is amazing (and I'm not a "funky meat" person). If you are going to Lake Louise, eat here!!

The service and the meal was amazing. This was our third time and it did not disappoint. We shared two hot appetizers - the asian scallops and the scampi risotto. They were delicious. Our server brought each one seperately so we could enjoy. Fresh hot home made buns with butter. A bottle of Robert Craig Affinity (125.00 - in store... More
