My colleague had raved about the eggs benedict at the Post hotel, so I was very pleased to have the opportunity yesterday to try them for myself. They didn't disappoint - lovely hollondaise sauce, perfectly cooked eggs, and an accompaniment of shoestring fries that were crispy and delicious! We were given fresh warm bread to start - I could have... More

My husband and 13 year old son enjoyed dinner at this wonderful restaurant. Even though we were staying at the Fairmont, we decided to venture out of our hotel and dine at the Post Hotel after reading all of the wonderful reviews. The dining room and lobby were decorated beautifully for the holidays with lights strung along vines and made... More

We decided to splurge at this site, and we sure are glad that we did. Not accustomed to five star accommodations, this was really a treat. Do your homework and check out the website, with pictures, but it will not do justice to this magnificent structure and property. Every detail is just right, in this, well, "rustic luxury" set before... More

The food, service and atmosphere are the best there is. This is a nice, cozy dining room which we love. The staff are the best and you are never rushed to free up a table for the next shift. The wine list is very extensive so there should not be a problem selecting one. All food was prepared perfectly and... More

If you're staying anywhere near Lake Louise, have at least one dinner in the main dining room at the Post Hotel. It is expensive, but worth it--fabulous food, terrific attention to detail, superb service, and one of the best wine cellars in the world. You won't be disappointed!

Three friends and I dined at the Dining Room recently. After much consideration of the menu, three of us opted for the six course Tasting Menu; our other companion opted for an appetizer and a main course. I appreciated that the entire table was not required to order the Tasting Menu, so many restaurants that offer tasting menus insist that... More

The food, service, wine and ambiance are all amazing at this restaurant. The bison was amazing and so is the seafood. The wine list is outstanding, lots of amazing wines and great value. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant, from walking in the door of the hotel to paying our bill, it was all delicious and flawless.... More

The food was wonderful at the Post Hotel - and it's oh so cozy! We had the veggie burgers, and yum….it's hard to find veggie burgers that aren't made out of previously frozen gross soy product. The burgers bean based and made in house. My one complaint is that it was understaffed - the service we received was good, but... More

This restaurant ranks among the best we have dined in. It has a wonderful selection of both food and wine; the quality of our meals (we went twice in one week) was outstanding; and the service flawless. The ambiance is also nice, especially the bar area, though one detail that could improve is slightly dimming the lighting over the dining... More
