We had the Friday night special of fish and chips - lots of food and very good. Our waiter was very attentive. We did go early and learned from him that it is a busy night because of that special. Would be hard to find had we not read other reviews. Go to the end of the parking lot and... More

I expected this to be more expensive than it turned out to be, based on other reviews. So much attention to detail is the key here, from the amuse bouche, to the beautiful little package of cakes given to you as you leave. Being a sorta perfectionist myself I appreciate this. The whole evening was delightful and worth every penny.... More

Expensive and not great. Eat at the rail Station. Far better food and atmosphere for the same price.

We have been here for lunch and diner, both very good experiences. Friendly staff, nice food, nice wines. They have a separed vegetarian menu. A lot of older people though, and they are a bit too quick for my taste, we had three courses within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Lunch closes early at 14:00. Best option in town.

My wife and I stayed at the Post Hotel and Spa, what a great location. Great service, restaurant, views, amenities, etc... The whirlpool came in handy after all the activities around Lake Louise. Went on a great trail run right from the hotel (go to the end of the parking lot and you will see a trail entrance that will... More

We had a meal at the Post Hotel and it was excellent. It is very pricy but we did not feel ripped off. The food was of a very high quality. The service was excellent and the ambiance inviting. They do have a separate vegetarian menu with nice options to chose from.

This was an amazing meal, certainly among the top five meals I have had in N. America. I had lobster bisque, caribou ribeye and Coupe Denmark: each was spectacular in timing, presentation and of course taste. The dining room was well appointed and comfortable, the servers discrete but available. We were lucky enough to have the sommelier serve us and... More

We stayed at Chateau Lake Louise and ate there at the Fairview dining room and their Italian restaurant Lago. Both were fine, as was the Post Hotel dining room, which is a few miles down the road from the lake. Although we drove, apparently the Post Hotel will drive you back up. So if you want to drink too much... More

The main restaurant at the Post offers an interesting menu with a broad wine selection. The wait staff are informed and attentive. Interestingly, the maître d is a somewhat officious but more often pretentious prune. Remarkable that the owners continue to tolerate him. If you can ignore him, the rest of the experience is usually enjoyable.

One of the best fondue we have had in years…we did not expect that in Canada, but hey, we were happily surprised. Great service, great food, lovely dinner with the children, in a room looking like a swiss chalet.
