Yum!

We had the bison burger and turkey sandwich special! Service was great and our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great lunch place and a great deck for sipping a nice cold beer on these sunny days! They don't have a huge selection but what they do have is done right!

Having visited Lake Louise and looking to avoid overcrowded eateries and long waiting times, we stumbled across this restaurant located in an original station house next to the train tracks. This restaurant has been sympathetically restored, including a three corner fire place, beautiful wooden floors and panelling, with great memorabilia and photographs to look at, together with the old telegraph... A rail enthusiast must do. Displays rail history of the area and more - great food - good service. Freight trains often rumble by just feet away from this building - very authentic experience to dine here!

Decent portions of ok food at medium-high prices. Half a log on the fire does not heat a huge room for 90 minutes. Very dark: impossible to read any of the captions on what might have been interesting historical pictures and a leaflet about the station. Huge rooms but surprisingly little atmosphere, and chair height not matched to tables. Avoid... More

My wife and myself visited The Station after a great day on the slopes. The food is very good and the portions are generous which is great after skiing all day. I enjoyed looking at many of the photos throughout the restaurant that tell the history of railways in our national parks. As an added bonus while we were eating... More

The old station doubles up as both a museum and restaurant serving excellent food with good friendly service and the prices are reasonable too.

In a fantastic setting with an awesome historic interior. But service was a bit so-so - we had to keep asking for water, and food was very forgettable. Both the rib fillet and New York steak were tough and overcooked and the Pork ribs were not as good as they could be. Staff didn't seem to know what was on... More

Returned after four years(they were closed two years ago when we visited) and they were an excellent choice. The service was excellent, helpful, and accommodating of my request for a table with a view of the ski area. Actually, the manager waited on us and he guided us to perfect menu selections. I had the trout and my wife, the... More

My first time staying in lake Louise, my Dad has been here a few times and has dined nearly everywhere in lake Louise and said this was the best resturtant in town and I have to try it. We shared the coconut prawns for starters, they were so delicious, I could of ate more ! Then I had chicken stuffed... More

The Lake Louise Station restaurant is a rustic setting worth a visit for the historical look of the building. The service was not as attentive as the setting or food prices might suggest. Given that the Lake Louise area is fairly remote I did expect prices somewhat higher as it takes longer to truck in supplies. The meal we had... More
