Atmospheric but food disappointing

In a fantastic setting with an awesome historic interior. But service was a bit so-so - we had to keep asking for water, and food was very forgettable. Both the rib fillet and New York steak were tough and overcooked and the Pork ribs were not as good as they could be. Staff didn't seem to know... read more

Returned after four years(they were closed two years ago when we visited) and they were an excellent choice. The service was excellent, helpful, and accommodating of my request for a table with a view of the ski area. Actually, the manager waited on us and he guided us to perfect menu selections. I had the trout and my wife, the... More

My first time staying in lake Louise, my Dad has been here a few times and has dined nearly everywhere in lake Louise and said this was the best resturtant in town and I have to try it. We shared the coconut prawns for starters, they were so delicious, I could of ate more ! Then I had chicken stuffed... More

The Lake Louise Station restaurant is a rustic setting worth a visit for the historical look of the building. The service was not as attentive as the setting or food prices might suggest. Given that the Lake Louise area is fairly remote I did expect prices somewhat higher as it takes longer to truck in supplies. The meal we had... More

We were at the station on the weekend and very disappointed with the food. For what you get, which is average the price is not, it is a fast food restaurant at 5 star resort prices. The station is great to look at, nice old authentic station, even with the train running by. Very nice to look at but that is... More

I had dinner and cocktails here and it was delicious. The staff were friendly. The building was awesome and had historic photos on the walls. Nice atmosphere when the trains go past beside the building. Nice walk along the lake to get to the restaurant and not too far from the mall.

The ambiance is wonderful especially sitting close to the fireplace. the food and service was very good. We stayed longer that we intended because it was so relaxing, but no one rushed us put. This is so worth spending a romantic with someone you love.

If you could eat the building (which was fantastic) then all would be good. Sadly, you eat the food which was unimpressive. I started with an heirloom tomato salad which had one heirloom tomato and around 30 cold, tasteless cherry tomatoes. My wife had coconut prawns which came with a mango salsa. The prawns were good but the salsa was... More

The RR Station gives the flavor of historic Lake Louise. You need a reservation and it is on the expensive side, but worth it for a true "Lake Louise" experience.

Restaurant setting and ambiance were lovely, staff were friendly but the food was pretty awful. The pasta was a poor effort and expensive. The seafood curry was disappointing (and possibly from a jar), the fish undercooked, shame,it's a beautiful restaurant.
