Great Food

The food and atmosphere were very nicel. It is part of the train depot and it has a small historical room. It does get quite crowded so go early for lunch or dinner.

The location of this converted Rail Road Station is on the way to the Lake Louise Chateau Hotel, just up the the road from Lk Louise village and to the right. A quick and pretty ride back into the past where the rich and famous arrived in the days when RR travel was king. The RR Station has been converted... More

We arrived earlier than their opening, yet they welcomed us and prepared a table for us right away. The highlight of our experience was being in this historic location! We got to experience a train coming by during dinner, as well as all of the historic artifacts and the roaring fireplace. What a gem! The meal was delicious! They were... More

The restaurant has some of the original train station detail and solid wood tables and chairs, which combine with a real fire in the fireplace for a warm inviting ambiance. The staff will happily tell you about the history of Lake Louise. After a day of skiing we tried the pasta with generous shrimp & scallops and the dirty mac.... More

This is a great place. Summer or Winter - tremendous food in a wondrous historic building. The food is well crafted traditional steak, sandwiches and salads - likely the best family restaurant in Lake Louise.

We have been coming to the Lake Louise Train Station since the Canadian stopped here. We have crossed Canada by train seven times now. Once the Canadian moved North to Jasper the Station has become a pretty nice Restaurant. Dinner in the Dining Cars is super special.... especially if some trains pass in the night. Great food, wonderful service and... More

We were excited to explore and eat off site at this unique location. Beautiful building but no one shared the story with us. Server had too many tables to give us attention. My son's food was wrong (for the second day in a row at Lake Louise). Overpriced, nothing special.

Whenever my wife and visit Lake Louise to ski to just to hang out, we always go here for lunch or dinner. It has never let us down and New Years day was no difference. Great, REAL food.

We sat at a table close to the fireplace. I loved the history of this restaurant, which is nicely preserved in various locations inside it. It is nicely modernized, while also preserving representations of the history. Our server was excellent, and the food was outstanding. This is a place you should visit!

Great place for dinner after a day of skiing; historical building respectfully restored in a beautiful setting. Staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Food is hardy and filling, including the appetizers. Strongly recommend the duck spring rolls as a starter. Suggest the beef tenderloin over the chicken. The cost is high but not necessarily out of scale compared to other... More
