Enjoy "off the beaten path"

For being peak of season was a lovely respite after visiting the Chateau with so many tourists. Visited during hot spell so rather warm inside restaurant. Patio is a nice option. We all enjoyed our entrees.

Firstly, it must be said that the service from the waiting staff was excellent. Very friendly and professional. The cons - 1) The food portions are very small and inadequate for the price commanded - very disappointing 2) The food quality was average at best. We had a tuna starter which was dry and lacked taste. The mains were very... More

We had meals here on many evenings and breakfasts, not only was the food amazing, but the chef went out of his way to help us, as the chalet we had booked was unavailable due to miscommunication somewhere along the line.and we had no kitchen upon our arrival. l have never seen a chef do so much to help someone... We went to the Bistro the other night and had two salads that were very average and the grilled cheese on the tomato salad was a distraction. The main disappointment was the burger which was tough and the bun was even tougher -- couldn't cut it with a table knife. We have loved the Bistro in previous years, but this... More

Excellent food, very friendly staff. A bit pricey, but so is everything else in the area. Well worth a stop.

Very reasonably priced breakfast: the omelet was absolutely fabulous: it was freshly made; all the ingredients well cooked: comes with potatoes and toast. Very friendly service. Plenty of parking and very nice atmosphere. The lunch moderately priced and dinner expensive: but let me say the chief really is a fabulous cook: best meal we had during our entire trip of... More

Enjoyed our meal here. Perhaps a bit over over-priced. Portion sizes on the small side. Service spot on .

We all order the Angus Beef sandwich since it looks yummy and turn out to be as it is looks like. Friendly service and nice atmosphere that you can stay away from the Lake Louise crowd.

We stayed in one of the cabins for two nights, so had two dinners and two breakfasts in the Bistro. All the meals were wonderful, although the wine selection left a bit to be desired.
