Thanksgiving Sunday dinner had a special menu of either turkey or ginger-glazed ham. Starter of pumpkin soup or salad. Pumpkin cheese cake or apple pie for dessert - all for an outstanding price of $35. The salad and soup were awesome! The turkey and ham were both outstanding. Dessert was delish. Service was excellent. The setting in the midst of... More

Stopped there for lunch today. Given it is mid October activity in the area is winding down so there were only 4 tables occupied for lunch. Still, they seemed to have their hands full to serve everyone promptly. Overhead apologies at one table for a late pizza order. We only had 2 soup and nachos and yet the nachos took... More

I lead photo workshops, and had a group of 12 with Muench Workshops at the Baker Creek Mountain Resort. Nigel, the owner of Baker Creek Bistro, was great, working in advance with me on special menus and timing of meals for our group. There wasn't a single thing he said no to! The food was outstanding, I loved the short... More

Recently enjoyed a two night stay at Baker Creek and had dinner at the well reviewed restaurant. I had the buffalo ribs which were dry and chewy, though the flavour was good. My husband had the steak, of which he left at least half as it was so gristly as to be inedible. He did not enjoy the apple pie... More

This resort is in a remote area about 20 minutes drive (at the park speed limit) from Lake Louise Village. We had a breakfast and a dinner here. We had very pleasant interactions with our waitress (same person both times) and with Chef Nigel. I didn’t particularly care for my squash-hash-and-eggs breakfast, but it was an experiment on my part.... More

A lucky find , especially as we were pretty hungry after walking around Lake Louise. Very pleasant young lady served us with great sandwiches ( including home made fries). Worth a visit!

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. Although not inexpensive, the price was average for Lake Louise restaurants at that quality level. The portion size was good, the quality excellent and it was value for money. The service was excellent, quick and attentive. Although a bit out of the way, it is worth the 15 minute drive to get... We went out of our way to go to this cute little place. It looks like such a fun place to spend a night and just soak in the peace, seclusion and beauty. We arrive for lunch and were able to sit outside which is nice but the food I ordered was close to inedible. Maybe it is a tendency... More

We stayed at the Baker Creek Resort and ate at the Bistro one night. It is a short drive on the parkway from Lake Louise Village. The food was tasty. I had the Salmon sandwich with a salad.they have outside seating , a lounge, and a main dining room. We chose the lounge for casual dining. The service was fast... More
