Spectacular New Years Eve Feast

Nigel Walker and his staff created the most delicious meal for us on New Year's Eve! The oven roasted halibut with beet broth moat was simply divine. My braised chicken was so full of flavour. The portions were perfect. Wonderful with the wine pairings. Hope to return soon, for the spring menu and... read more

We ate here primarily for a lack of options in the area and we were staying the night at the Baker Creek Resort. The food was good, but nothing remarkable. The setting was very nice and cozy.

We have been coming to Baker Creek on our company ski trip for three years and we are never disappointed. The service in the restaurant and pub is friendly and accommodating, the menu is fantastic, and the food is delicious. This year was no different - the restaurant staff took excellent care of us and we had a wonderful time.... More

This past New Years Eve we spent in this Bistro. We had a 5 Course/Wine Pairing Meal. The evening was wonderful, food was delicious, would definitely do it again.

A weekend away last winter and again this year at Baker Creek. Great location to get to the ski hills and trails and very comfy accommodation. We weren't overwhelmed with the food in the bistro last year and chalked it up to expectations.. The reviews have been raving. Again, this year, food okay but not awesome and quite pricey. The... This is an amazing restaurant. The food was incredible and the service bar none. Even if you are not staying at the Lodge, you should stop and eat here. You wont' regret it!!

The bistro continued our romantic two days at the Baker Creek Mountain Resort. The staff was friendly but discrete making one feel looked after but not "bombarded", or in the way. The food was excellent.

I can't remember what the menu said, but they have fries with melted cheese curd, loaded with duck confit then covered in maple jus... Its like you die and go to heaven with every bite. Have a Banff coffee too... Smiles all around... I wonderful little bistro in the woods. I will probably stay here next time just to be... More

This restaurant is about a 15 minute drive from Lake Louise south on the Bow Valley Parkway, but certainly worth the drive. The location is remote, in a good way, and the food and ambiance are exceptional. We actually went twice - it was that good. The wild boar chop and rabbit were excellent - but the tamer fare is... Good service and good food but somewhat pricey. Tables too close together and heating turned up way too high..
