I hadn't had Raclette for 50 years. I was introduced to this wonderful dish in Switzerland many years ago and fell in love. I think the Walliser did even better than what I had years ago. A large heater was sent to my table and every element was there: the gherkins, the colorful boiled potatoes and that yummy, gooey cheese... More

We enjoyed a delicious cheese fondue in this most beautiful setting. We were lucky to have a window table with beautiful views of the lake. Of course The wine was also delicious.

We had probably the best meal of our Tauck tour here. Friends ordered the veal dish, my husband had fondue and I had fish. Service was excellent.

We chose the Walliser St be as the restaurant to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary whilst on our Rocky Mountaineer adventure. My wife had the veal Vienna style, while I had a bacon wrapped smoked pork tenderloin. Both entrees were perfection. The chocolate fondue was an excellent toppwr. There was one slight serving hitch, but was handled quickly and efficiently.... More

Having enjoyed fondues more than once in the birthplace of fondue, Switzerland, we can honestly say that we know and appreciate the difference between quality fondues and wannabes. This is the real thing. The right blend of authentic cheeses plus black truffle oil make for an exquisite cheese fondue. It was served with vegetables as well as bread, providing some... More

Cheese fondue followed by beef fondue followed by chocolate fondue- fondue heaven. All the courses were beautifully presented by attentive and friendly staff. Don't fill up on the cheese though-there's far too much for a starter!

All of our meals were absolutely delicious. Fondue is their speciality, but also have wild game and European favourites.

Service was excellent. Food was just okay, not memorable. Pretty expensive but on par with the rest of dining. Not worth a return visit.

We were staying at the Chateau and so decided to give this restaurant a try after it came highly recommended by the staff at the hotel. We did not get reservations on the first night but we did for late sitting on the second night that we were staying at the hotel. We started with the cheese fondue with truffles... More
