We decided on a fondue dinner while staying at the Chateau. This restaurant is tucked into a corner of the Hotel, and is smaller, so definitely requires a reservation. The fondue for two was lovely. Salad accompanied the cheese fondue course. We elected to have the combo main course (beef and bison). And of course chocolate fondue for dessert. The... More

It's a great place to get a Swiss Dish, including fondu. The decor is even chalet swiss, and the food a bit out of the ordinary. A little pricey, as is everything here, but good just the same.

Avoid the fondue for two approach. It is likely better to order off the menu. Three course fondue is too much for two.

We had to go back a second time because we loved it so much. Our waitress Kait was just a sweetheart. We were there for our honeymoon and she surprised us with champage and amazing chocolate mouse.

Return trip to a favorite restaurant at the Chateau Lake Louise. Location is beautiful if you have a view off the lake. The food is unique and very good -- our favorite is the raclette. Desserts are a little predictable. Only slight disappointment this time was the somewhat slow and mildly inattentive service. Will still plan to return on our... More

We could not have made a better choice for our first night at the Chateau. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. We were seated at one of the two or three tables with a view of the lake and watched the skaters and snow float down. Then our food came. I had the single person beef tenderloin... More

The Walliser Stube transports guests to an Alpen expereicne fo excellent beers, fresh food and a choice of game meats and provides the European alpine decor to complete the experience. Service was attentive and all guests enjoyed themselves.

The fondue was amazing, we had one beef and one cheese. Service was fantastic and ambience very European.

Well, I really wanted to rave about this restaurant, however, it was good, not "wow" in my opinion. The service was good, but we opted for the $95 per person fondue experience which was okay, but not worth the price in my opinion. For the $95 you got your choice of cheese fondue, broth fondue and chocolate fondue. The cheese... More

My partner and I ended up at Walliser Stube when our reservation for another Chateau Lake Louise restaurant was moved there because our pick was closed that night. Walliser Stube wasn't our first choice then and it won't be in the future because of: the service (but to be fair the server did try to make up for it in... More
