The food was fine, but we were there for the view. Got a window seat and very much enjoyed our surroundings. The service was excellent, but the views were amazing. Then it started to snow and it was like being in a wonderful snow globe. We went out to the lake after lunch and enjoyed the ice castles in the... More

This is a nice restaurant. Not cheap, but excellent food and service. If you don't see something you want at this place, they'll bring you something from one of the other restaurants on site. (I think they do that at all of them.)

22 for an impromptu lunch was the best decision we made. They were extremely accommodating as we just dropped in. Picturesque views, varied menu and the cocktails were divine. This is not an inexpensive lunch but we felt it was worth it. Bison rueben and quinoa and berry salad were very good as was the winter salad and Italian sausage... More

We were hoping for some really wonderful flavours and the food was just bland. We sent back one dish - we rarely do this. It was the wild boar pasta appetizer but when we could not eat it and our server insisted on making us happy, we agreed to try the scallops. They were the only item in the three... More

For our first dinner of our stay, we chose the Fairview Dining Room at Chateau Lake Louise. We were seated at a circular table for the five of us, with a lovely view through the high windows of the dining room to a 40' plus Spruce tree sparkling against the snow with its' blue lights. Graciously decorated for Christmas, the... More

If you like good tea and little pastries and tiny sandwiches, plus a couple extra little surprises, you must try the Chateau Lake Louise's Afternoon Tea. My husband and I finished all three tiers between us, it was so delicious. The view was spectacular of course, and as it was not busy in the Fairview Dining Room that day, we... More

Our final dinner of our stay was at the Fairview Dining room. Can't say enough about it. Everything from the hostess, waiter, food, atmosphere was what you'd expect and more. We'll be back.

Overpriced and not what you would expect from this type of resort. Service was average. Food was small portions and not the selection of food we would normally eat.

Wonderful unique menu choices with a most spectacular view of any restaurant I can remember. On the pricey side as we had lunch on the outside patio with soup and sandwiches for $75. One of those once in a lifetime experiences so it was worth the investment. And I must say, my sandwich was hearty enough that I took half... More
