After a long trek to get to the Plain of Six Glaciers, it's so nice to have a slice of pie and a cup of tea to rest before the hike back. The prices are expensive, but considering that everything has to either be carried in by staff or helicopter dropped to the site, the prices are very understandable. Goods... More

Well done to the girls (and guys if there are any) who man this tea room spending five days living up by the glacier before their shift change. Not many places offer such a great personal service and have a welcome like this at the end of a long walk. Equally not many of us have to walk 6.1km up... More

So, you've just schlepped thru snow, up switch backs, across streams, you are wet, you are cold, you are dazzled by the scenery and the friendly spirit of everyone you meet on the trail - You reach the Teahouse. The lovely, personable wait staff greets you. The dog wags it tail. You have tea. It's the same tea ya get... More

We've been coming to this tea house for years and the experience has always been great. This time, even better. We came with friends and our two little dogs and the owner and staff were very accommodating, even taking time to speak with us about the little guys and providing them with water. The menu is small, as is to... More

After hiking several miles, my hands were freezing and I was starving. I got hot chocolate, peanut butter/jelly sandwich, and a chocolate cake. Very delicious! It got me ready for the hike back. Their dog is absolutely adorable, too. Prices are a little higher but you have to think about the fact that tgey haul everything up there (fuel included),... More

At the end of the lake the climb of the plain of... More

Prepare yourself for a breathtaking hike. Wear good shoes, bring a bottle of water and a snack. Take in the views of Lake Louise, ice and snow falling from the glaciers. We did the hike late september, weather was still great and colours are just changing. Once you get to the Teahouse make sure to order the chocolate cake. Well... More

It's a bit of a trek but worth it to see this teahouse. This teahouse is two stories high and located with a view of the Plain of the six glaciers. Unfortunately for us, the first time we did this was after climbing up the Big Beehive, then came down into the valley and continued on to the tea house.... More
