After a day outdoors (hiking), we had good appetites and were not disappointed at Bill Peyto's. A warm-up on sweet potato fries, made in-house and delicious, and a beer convinced us we'd chosen well. Dinner was fish and chips/salad: the batter was thin--perfect. Suggest if you have a beer with supper you ask for a jug; might as well instead... More

All it took was their pesto chicken sandwich and we were hooked on Bill Peto's. Food ranged from very good to excellent and our waiter was exceptional. Has a comfortable neighborhood restaurant feel and was the perfect place for a tasty relaxing meal after our hikes. All the restaurants are overpriced but Peyto's is the most reasonable. Of all the... More

Nice ambiance - communal traveler vibe. Decent food and cheerful service. Had the fish and chips and the burger, quite good and not too pricey either. Our favorite place in lake louise area that we could still go to in our hiking clothes.

Visited Peyto's on the first night of our backpacking trip. Cold and damps outside. Peyto's was warm, friendly, and inviting. Beer was good and food was satisfying. Nice vibe on the Café with hikers and travelers relaxing after a day's adventure. Well worth a visit.

This is a good casual dining restaurant. We ate here 4 or 5 times during our week long stay in Lake Louise .We never had a poor meal here and service was excellent. It provides the "best value for the dollar". It is located in the Lake Louise Alpine Hostel on village road very near to the Lake Louise Inn.... More

Ate here twice on our stay and enjoyed two good meals. Staff were friendly and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We joined a table of young people as it was very busy and they were delightful and made us feel welcome.

During our 3 night stop at Lake Louise we ate here twice. There are not that many restaurants in the area but this place offers good food at very reasonable prices. It is not a fine dining restaurant but if you are looking for good unfussy food then this is the place. Linked to the hostel the place has a... More

We didn't want to pay a lot to have lunch on a Sunday and it seemed that Bill Peyto's Cafe was exactly what we were looking for. The Café is inside the HI-Lake Louise Alpine Centre (Hostel) and NOT the Post Hotel and Spa according to Google. It's located on 203 Village Road so don't make the mistake like we... More

Needed a kid friendly place to eat. This turned out to be it. Good food and kids could run around and chase squirrels outside while they waited.

My wife and I walked from the Post Hotel and Spa to Bill Peyto's Cafe for dinner and had a great dinner. the service was also very good. Casual ambiance, not fancy. The Chili was very good. We also went for breakfast and it did not disappoint!
