The food was good and at a reasonable prive. Nice to get a pint of beer. Service was good and meal served promptly.
We often stop at Bill Peyto's after a weekend of camping or skiing. The cafe is small, informal, inexpensive with good food at a decent price. However, be forewarned: the service is totally unpredictable. While waiting for friends, watched the server in a long conversation swapping travel stories with one table, while other customers were patiently, then impatiently waiting to... More
We ate here Friday march 8th for dinner and Saturday march 9th for breakfast. Both times there were exactly two cooks and two waitstaff serving a dining room of around 50 patrons. The cooks were stressed and one of the waitstaff was in training. I asked a couple of employees if somebody called in sick or if they were busier... More
I have been here a few times because it is comparatively cheap for Lake Louise and it is one of the only places in town open during the day in winter. However the service is very lazy and at times blatantly strange - one server asked me if i wanted half of my coke to take away? The food is... More
We had wonderful chili. We wanted one entrée and they split it in two . They had a great desert. The restaurant is very homey. We love sitting by the fireplace. The beer is excellent. We had grasshopper stout. The price was the most reasonable in town for a meal. We eat here after X-C skiing. This is a great... More
Went for breakfast because I wanted something simple and cheap. In the best possible way, I got what I was looking for...as well as friendly and efficient service, and a table right next to a wood fire. I would definitely go back.
Tasty nicely seasoned Santorini penne and the best chicken quesadilla we've ever had. We arrived at 6 pm during the off season, service was rapid. Finding the restaurant was a challenge in the dark, but it was well worth it! Very Reasonably priced for Lake Louise.
We went here as we were looking for some wifi with our breakfast as public wifi not working.Food was average Canadian standard- we shared an omelette and more than enough food for 2 as came with toast & potatoes. It was fine- passable but not as food as at home! Coffee ok - with one refill. Waitress pretty average &... More
Normally I wouldn't think of either staying at or eating in a hostel. I am not pretentious but I can afford "better". There is however absolutely nothing better or cheaper in Lake Louise. The quality of the food & service you receive is very reasonable in a resort that is "pricey"! I read about Bill Peyto's on trip advisor &... More
This place is a find! It is unusual (I learned from the server) for a hostel (they are no longer just for "youths") to have a real restaurant (vs a little snack bar). We enjoyed dinner there so much that we returned for breakfast before we left town. Well prepared, good food, probably the best buy for the money in... More
