The friendly vibe at this rustic Bill Peyto's Cafe puts everybody at ease. It's nice to find an inexpensive eatery in pricey Lake Louise that serves unpretentious food and plenty of it. We enjoyed the Thai Stir-fry and the Chicken Coconut Curry for the multitude of veggies and the tender chicken. Our waitress was so friendly, and she really hustled... More

If you want a good meal at a decent price in Lake Louise, then try Peyto's. The service is from friendly and the food is your standard pub fare. It is off the beaten path, but worth the visit. Enjoy!

Food and Service is great! Nice place to go after a long days hike!!! Be prepared for a wait time because it is very popular with locals. Well worth the wait. Ate here a couple times while staying at the hostel.

This is a rustic, casual restaurant inside a ski hostel. It's easy to drive right past, and our GPS took us in the wrong direction entirely, so it's a good idea to ask the locals where the international hostel is. You have to go up some stairs and around an "avalanche " area where I surmise that the snow slides... More

After a day outdoors (hiking), we had good appetites and were not disappointed at Bill Peyto's. A warm-up on sweet potato fries, made in-house and delicious, and a beer convinced us we'd chosen well. Dinner was fish and chips/salad: the batter was thin--perfect. Suggest if you have a beer with supper you ask for a jug; might as well instead... More

All it took was their pesto chicken sandwich and we were hooked on Bill Peto's. Food ranged from very good to excellent and our waiter was exceptional. Has a comfortable neighborhood restaurant feel and was the perfect place for a tasty relaxing meal after our hikes. All the restaurants are overpriced but Peyto's is the most reasonable. Of all the... More

Nice ambiance - communal traveler vibe. Decent food and cheerful service. Had the fish and chips and the burger, quite good and not too pricey either. Our favorite place in lake louise area that we could still go to in our hiking clothes.

Visited Peyto's on the first night of our backpacking trip. Cold and damps outside. Peyto's was warm, friendly, and inviting. Beer was good and food was satisfying. Nice vibe on the Café with hikers and travelers relaxing after a day's adventure. Well worth a visit.

This is a good casual dining restaurant. We ate here 4 or 5 times during our week long stay in Lake Louise .We never had a poor meal here and service was excellent. It provides the "best value for the dollar". It is located in the Lake Louise Alpine Hostel on village road very near to the Lake Louise Inn.... More

Ate here twice on our stay and enjoyed two good meals. Staff were friendly and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We joined a table of young people as it was very busy and they were delightful and made us feel welcome.
