The menu had the regular fare, but it also had a hot chicken and gravy sandwich, open faced steak sandwich and shepherds pie as examples, and they were all very good. The prices were reasonable including the beer and drinks, and the service was very fast and friendly.

We went to Tommy's for dinner based on the reviews here. We arrived at 6:30 and found seats right away. My husband had the steak sandwich, which was pretty good, and I had the Tommy's panini. The panini was cold on the inside, so the chicken wasn't very good and the cheese wasn't melted. I was disappointed with my meal,... More

I decided on this restaurant after having passed by it the day before, and doing some research online. We had already checked out the prices and menu. You don't really see this restaurant from outside, as you have to go down a set of stairs to get to it. The restaurant itself seems more pub first, and restaurant second although... More

Almost right next to our hotel, this pub was in a great location for us. We had lovely meals and drinks on 2 occasions. There was live music and a very good feel about the place. Tommy is lovely.

I was super impressed after my visit to Tommy's Pub. I had fish and chips: the chips wee freshly made, the fish melted like butter in my mouth and the tartare sauce was delicious - very satisfactory for a 14$ meal! Foodwise, the only thing I would have wished for was some vegetables to lighten the entree. The service was... More

A place to relax for lunch when you don,t want to feel like a tourist. Good beer and lovely comfort food, all served by very friendly and helpful staff.

Popped in here on our first night in Banff as it was close to the hotel. Burger was lovely, Buffalo burger Black Jack with fries. Burger was cooked perfectly and the fries with it were spot on. I had the Molson beer with it, which was a bit sweet and shandy-ish for my taste so maybe something stronger would have... More

Food is okay. Menu isn't extensive. We had the perogies, which were pretty tasty; Tommy's Panini, also good. My husband had the Nacho Grande. Let me just say this---those are definitely MAN FOOD. It is chili, heaped with cheese, guacamole, and jalapenos with chips for dipping. He enjoyed them with some beers. It was a nice, smokeless atmosphere.

The menu isn't huge but there is something for everybody here. The drinks prices were fair, the food prices were good and the service was excellent. What more do you want on holiday?
