ITs a PUB -go for the beer

We tried to go to the Pizza Place next door but they had no A/C and it was 90F so then we tried the Greek Place and they also did not believe in A/C. Tommy's didn't either, but it was under the Greek place and ten degrees or more cooler. They had good fish and chips and burgers. The wait... read more

We had an early dinner there, prices were reasonably cheap given the size of the meals which tasted amazing. Very simple food but it tasted great.

We did not like the food at. The steak sandwich is their speciality. It was tough and cooked hard. The chicken sandwich had a strange taste like spoiled chicken.

I have been at the Tommy's several time and it is always good. This is a place that you can keep as a "No mistake" if you don't know where to go or all the other places are too busy, too loud, too crowded then go to Tommy and have a nice time. Beer always cold and staff friendly.

Old fashioned, rough and ready decor, with lots of old adverts. Friendly staff. Good selection of craft ales as well as other beers, wines and cider. Food excellent...the buffalo burgers very tasty, and my wife really enjoyed her steak sandwich. We liked it so much we went again the next day!

You can always rely on pub food, but this place is extraordinary. In addition to great food, we had a pile of terrific lasagna and a steak sandwich with onion rings, the ambience is amazing, loaded with history on every wall and shelf, and the service is great. Put this on your must list for Banff!

I've been to this pub a number of times over the years, and the food is always good, and there's something there for everyone. This pub has been around for a long time, and it's always been a good place to go for a quick bite to eat.

Good pub food, service was great. From what I've been told Banff can be quite busy, thankfully it wasn't that way at the pub, food was ready very fast.

I would go back again and again. I loved the food, and the atmosphere was very welcoming as well. I had the beef Greek burger, and my boyfriend had the Chicken Cordon bleu we both enjoyed our meals and were very filling for a great reasonable price Only issues is the tables right by the windows need to be fixed,... A casual pub atmosphere where good food can be enjoyed at fair prices. Service is friendly and efficient. Had dinner there on two evenings and meals were consistently good quality.
