Nice atmosphere, good food, but expensive!

We had a light lunch here and enjoyed the atmosphere and food, and we had a great server. Only downside was the cost......extremely high even for a nice resort.

We visited with a family in July. Great location, one of the best views you will find anywhere (it's even better in the winter). Take the time to walk around the patios, so nice. My youngest boy had chicken fingers - very good. The burger is excellent and huge. The surprise was the pizza - the pizza was the best... More

This is our second time having the afternoon tea at the Banff springs hotel. I don't think you could ask for a better view than the bow river at the Banff springs hotel as you enjoy your tea. If you never been they generally roll out a cart of 12 teas and explain them to you offer a sample to... More

The outdoor terrace is a great place to sit and drink/chat, but the menu was pretty basic (burger, hot dog etc.) Everything was very salty. Come for the view. Eat only if you have to.

The outside terrace has absolutely stunning views of the valley. Inside depending where you sit may not see outside that well, but has a very cosy castle like feel. The food and drink is great but moderate-pricey.

We had lunch at the Lookout Patio at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and enjoyed great views of the mountains. Food was good and the service staff was attentive, but what makes the place is the location and the relaxed atmosphere. My teenage daughters did not stop commenting about how beautiful the place was and did not stop taking selfies... More

We are avid Fairmont guests. We love the experience of being taken back to another time. A little pampering does not hurt. One of our favourite experiences is sharing the Afternoon Tea with our friends from Calgary. On various weekends we have traveled up to Fairmont Banff Springs just for this. The views from the lounge are amazing. The picturesque... More

We loved our lunch and the view. Never ate there for dinner. seemed more like a lounging spot. Don't need reservations for dinner - probably only place in hotel where that is true unless you want to eat at 6 or after 8 (which is what we did).

We ate dinner here twice. Had salad and grilled cheese. It was good. Same as everything at the Fairmont - it was expensive. The waitstaff was very friendly.

We ate here a couple of times while staying at the Banff Springs and both times we were all happy with our meals. Very attentive service as well. The seafood chowder was amazing! My son had a burger and said it was very good.
