Excellent food and service, Unfortunately this is the main hotel dining room and as such it doesn't have the "occasion" about it.

Fantastic food, service, ambiance, and what a view. My wife explained she had an allergy. Chef came out to discuss and even made her a special plate just for her. You must eat at this amazing hotel in one of its many restaurants

The food is one of the best meals I've had in my life. The diabetic deserts are also tasty. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it once in a while. Sometimes, the service isn't good and varies upon server. One of the servers 'disappeared' until the end and did not take our plates away during the buffet meal. At... More

We quite late arriving and dined at 8;45pm. This restaurant claims to be the 2nd largest in Alberta. It is huge. The architecture is beautiful and the different tables looked separate enough from the whole to feel intimate enough. We had a corner booth but were not disturbed by the service traffic that flowed round us. Service was timely and... More

We ate here as a holiday treat, wine list was reasonable but very expensive we noticed a mark up on 1 bottle of over $80. We had a half bottle, they served a bread basket and a really nice truffle oil, salt and parsley butter. My friend had a pork chop, it came with mash and vegetables, the jus was... More

On our first trip to Banff, we booked a Saturday buffet meal at Bow Valley Grill at the Fairmont Banff Springs. Our daughters (7, 10) absolutely loved it. We arrived early and enjoyed touring the castle and its grounds and shops and at 11:30 headed to the Bow Grill. It included fabulous breakfast and lunch fare with a beautiful view.... More

Large room, very busy but breakfast buffet has tons of options including an omelet bar, fresh fruits and smoked salmon. Coffee is hot and strong and we enjoyed it the 2 mornings we ate there.

If you get the chance, head over for weekend brunch, but be warned - bring your appetite as the selection is plentiful and very tasty.

For dinner, this is average hotel food with roast chicken and steak in demi glace and linguini prawns as notable entrees. Servers are nice enough, but not very well trained. Knives are dropped on the table from a two-foot height, bread and butter never served, bottled water never refilled and the bottle placed too far away on the table for... More
