Best Gluten Free bread I've ever eaten! Everything else was great too!

It was a bit too cool to eat at the Look Out (our favourite place to eat) so we had dinner at the Bow Valley Grill. Beautiful atmosphere and view. The potato soup starter was absolutely delicious. And the gluten free bread is a reason to go back all on it's own. It was a rare treat to be able... read more

The food here is ok, but at these prices I expect something special. We had a good steak, though it was cold when it arrived. The menu is about 40 years out of date, with no main course salad options. Most of the dishes were bland and over salted, and the vegetables overcooked.

I definitely would not call this fine dining. We were seated and waited 15 minutes to order a drink. Servicer was very inexperienced but friendly. Quality of the food was mediocre at best. Not worth what was spent.

We were on a tour with Rocky Mountaineer Railway and were fortunate to stay at Banff Springs Hotel Saturday and Sunday nights. The Sunday Brunch was off the charts! Pastries, meats, two types of eggs benedict, waffles, fruit, and so much more! Everything we tried was fantastic! The coffee was delicious, the friendly wait staff was conversational and helpful with... More

This hotel is the largest, most interesting hotel I have ever seen. It has an immensely interesting history. The restaurant is massive, elegant and yet warm and welcoming. As lovely as the food is, the server was cold and a bit "snotty." Boo....

Our group of 5 had an amazing meal on Thursday night. The food was fabulous and the service from our waitress Michelle was out of this world. She was attentive, funny, informative and a joy to be around. We wanted her to sit and have dinner with us!! I had the burger and it had a lot of great flavours.... More

I have been to Banff Springs hotel many times, the service has been deteriorating over the years. You could enjoy better buffet and service in Hyatt Calgary. If you are in Banff, you can have much nicer food and service in the town centre. I am in my 40s, I have been been to many buffets in Canada and internationally... More
