After hearing rave reviews, decided to try it out after we checked out of the hotel. Food was fresh with a nice amount of choices, including many for people with specific dietary needs (which is great) but I will note that it is rather expensive though at $45 a head. We have paid this in other cities but the selection... More

The breakfast buffet is excellent. A vast variety of choice. Anyone will find what they like whether it's bacon, eggs, fruits, bagels, donuts, cereals, muesli, smoothies, different kind of breads, muffins, pankakes, sausages, joghurts, you name it... Unfortunately, a lot of the service personnel isn't of the same quality. We fear it's the head of service who needs to step... More

My wife and I have made the Bow Valley Grill in Banff a tradition in celebrating our wedding anniversary. Since visiting last year, the brunch has been changed up a bit, but still offering a large selection that will fill anyones stomach! Although a few items were not very warm (first time ever experienced this), in general, the brunch was... More

Although we did not stay at this beautiful stately hotel, we came here to see the legend. I like how they have retained the essence of the old hotel. You can get a feel of how it was back in the early 1900's here. Earlier in the week we had enjoyed staying at the Fairmont's in Jasper and Lake Louise.... More

We both loved the Sunday buffet brunch at the Banff Springs Hotel. the dining options and selection was amazing, the only let down for us both is that being British in our opinion you can't have a Roast without roast Potatoes and there were non to be had. Roast Potatoes would have propelled the brunch into a nothing comes close... More

I came here for dinner with my wife while we were staying in Banff. I was looking for somewhere at the last minute, as our other usual haunts in Banff were booked, and stumbled upon this place. How times have changed.... we began by having sunday brunch at Alberta Room ( upstairs from BVG) 30 years ago, then gradually the brunch got moved down here, except during big weekends like Easter, Mother's Day when it was still held in bigger venues such as over at Convention Centre Ballroom. The most recent outing here in Feb, we found... More
