Loved the 'everything elk Wednesday' menu and so must a lot of other people in Banff! It was busy so we sat at the bar (which we preferred anyway) as there was a queue for tables - but don't let that put you off, it was a short queue and worth waiting for. Had the elk sliders and elk pizza... More

I don't know if we would have chosen this venue after walking around Banff looking at restaurants but on a wet cold night in Banff as all the restaurants were busy and there was a table here we went for it. We had no complaints a typical pub/sports bar menu with great ribs at an amazing price.

Sat on the roof top this time which gives you those panoramic views everybody wants in banff. Elk nachos still are the champ on the menu and there drink specials are all top notch. Still one of my favorites in town.

It was hot, we were famished. They even turned on the air conditioner for me!! We had burgers and fries and they were so good!! Done just right, arrived hot, service was good and friendly and the cold beer really hit the spot!! What a great find!

We stopped here for dinner. The service was pretty slow at our table. We had two kids with us and their food (noodles with butter) was delivered after our nachos and pizza. We also didn't get our food before the tables next to us came in, ordered, and completed their food. With that being said, the Nachos with the added... More

I've been going to the Elk since 2008 on and off as I've been moving back and away from town. On my last visit, I was very disapointing to see that the menu was now really small. They even removed local beers like Grasshoper (Big Rock) and offered me Blanche de Chambly (from Québec) instead. We ordered the nachos (they... More

The single best feature of this eating establishment is the upper deck dining, which has wonderful mountain views.Emily was our server, and she did a great job getting one of the only vegetarian entrees (pasta Alfredo) modified two have vegetables. The chicken wrap, tomato soup and garden salad were all excellent, and tasted very fresh. We were pleased to have... More

We had a reasonable experience here last night. The service was friendly and fantastic. We wanted to go upstairs however our server insisted we stay downstairs due to the possibility of rain... She saved our backs there as the restaurant filled up after it rained! Great view from our table of the lightning show unfolding outside. The food was well... More

The service was very courteous, but the food was meh: our steaks were overcooked (we asked for medium-rare) and the salmon was burnt on the bottom side; it seemed they don't clean the grill very often. Elk pizza we had was dry, but the meat tasted good.
