Not a lot of choice, but our group of six really enjoyed our entrees, desserts were also spectacular. Reasonable value for money.
Quite uneven meal, lamb and elk osso bucco were tasty, vegetables were cold, risotto was uncooked, Polenta was watery, salmon chowder was very tasty, dessert mediocre. Staff trying hard but inexperienced
Starting with the bread w/ truffle butter & red wine sea salt; it was tasty for sure, but just seemed to be trying a little too hard to be capital-c Cuisine. Hotel based restaurant's are often bland & boring…NOT The Terrace in The Banff Park Lodge, creative menu, great wine list and FAB service! A must dining experience in Banff. Have the lamb…yum!!!
Husband and I shared the maple duck appetizer, elk entree, bison entree and the cheesecake. Flavours were amazing! The portions aren't huge, but the ingredients are premium quality and prepared properly.

It was very convenient as being part of the hotel and was always busy which to us was a good sign. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. With dinner... More
Went for drinks and dessert. I had wine, my husband had a Banff coffee. Both were good ($10 each). We ordered the cheese board and were not impressed. Four different types of cheese, two pieces of each. We only liked one of them. The menu promised fresh bread but none was provided. We also ordered caramel cheesecake which was very... More
