Yes it is more expensive than other restaurants, however in our view it is worth the price. Lots of attention has gone into the furniture and fittings, which are great and enhance the experience. What a great restaurant. The food was excellent for both Lunch & Dinner with separate menu's for each. The choice available on the menu's was very good, it was hard to choose what to eat! We were in Banff over Christmas and wanted somewhere a little special for Christmas Dinner and went to the Maple Leaf. The food was excellent and they made us feel really special as a couple of Brits a long way from home. Food in Banff is generally quite heavy and meat based -as you'd expect (no complaints) but this restaurant... more

The food was not worth the money, but that's not even the worst! On 12/23/2008, I went there with my hubby for dinner. When I got my bill, I realized that I was automatically charged for tips.
