Looking for some hot food in a snow storm, we popped into the Maple Leaf. We were given a table quickly, despite it being busy. Staff were great and happy to make recommendations too. The food we ordered was fantastic and we enjoyed it so much we planned to return. A good choice for a casual but tasty meal in... More

I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was very good and had good portions as well. Friendly staff that were helpful in choosing food items.

We had lunch-dinner here, and were absolutely pleased. We had a view of the sidewalk traffic, the menu choices were excellent, as was the food, with outstanding service.

The ambiance is wonderful. The service was great. They had cram legs on the menu as a add on. Unasked if I could get them as an entree. The waiter asked the chef and came back and said yes. The would be $48.00 (this place is very expensive). My plate arrived with four little claws and probably 25 little potatoe... More

Great food and great service. We went for lunch and we were the only tourists in the restaurant, everyone else were "locals". I had the apple wrap and soup which was very tasty and my husband had the game burger with fries. It was a nice atmosphere. Our best meal in Banff

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Maple Leaf. The bison stroganoff was amazing along with the bc salmon. Two very unique entrees. The trio of creme brulees was the perfect end to our meal!

When in a remote area, in a town of less than 2000 folk, you don't expect such quality food and nice service. They even use white table cloths. But not forgetting the huge moose head looking over the table in the far room. Perfect. You are in Banff after all.

We had a great meal. Everything was done to perfection. The service was also very attentive and friendly. The desserts were particularly good: chocolate soufflé and also their trio of crèmes brulées.

I think they must depend on tourists because they would never survive on savvy locals alone. My husband and i went there for lunch as we were leaving from a weekend in Banff. They didn`t have Coke so we ordered gingerale. Not a bubble to be seen or felt. He ordered fish and chips which were ok. The fries were... More
