The resturant in its self is interesting with front window room downstairs for awesome people watching and then more tables upstairs with nice view of surroundings. Food is amazing.

Okay. You have to go here. This is a more upscale place, featuring less common dishes like duck and bison, but they have a huge variety. We ordered the three tiered seafood platter. (Renamed by us: "the three tiered orgasm") there was an enormous amount of food, including a whole lobster, snow crab, king crab, prawns, scallops, smoked salmon, calamari,... More

Great ambiance, great service, very friendly. We loved the time we spent here. Only wish we had come back to try dinner. Got our picture with a moose hanging in the back room which we loved. ;)

You can tell a great restaurant by a combination of food quality, service, ambiance and character. This restaurant has it all. It is not cheap but worth it. I left my SLR camera on my seat back and the maitre d caming running down half the block to get it back to me. That is amazing!

Quite 'high brow' really - though we were made to feel very welcome. Expensive in general (the most costly meal we had in Banff). The steaks were not really cooked to our request, and everything was an extra.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant base on the fact that we had eaten here a few years ago and had a previous good experience. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent, friendly, helpful and very attentive. The food was extremely tasty. All round we had a very enjoyable meal from start to finish. Hats off... More

We ate here in March 2014 and we had the Chef's special. It was Bison wrapped in bacon rare. It was delicious. The most beautiful steak I have ever had. the dessert was fantastic also - 3 mini creme brule's. Oh the delight. The texture of everything was perfect and the wine was amazing. Pricey but it was worth it.

Four of us ate and drank something different and we all said what we ate was great. The waiter made several suggestions that we tried like prime rib and fish. Each item we ate was excellent. The service also was excellent. The Maple Leaf is in downtown Banff and was close to the hotel we stayed at.

We were in town on holiday and decided to eat "in town" rather than at the Banff Springs Hotel. Our first evening's choice was The Maple Leaf, and we were extremely pleased with the experience. The food was outstanding and the service wonderful. I will definitely go back on my next visit to Banff!

In town for a conference. 7 of us (2 guys and 5 women) went out for supper and thought to try here. A variety of meals were ordered and all were done very well. In addition service was good and everyone received their meal at the same time. There was a few other groups at the same time so was... More
