This is a large restaurant with a wide choice of food. They use quality ingredients, and make a serious effort to cook it well, but sometimes the combinations appear a bit unusual. We sampled several of the starters (raw oysters (excellent), elk meatballs (nice taste, but a bit dry), and crab cake (very nice), two fish dishes (salmon and arctic... More

We were looking for a nice meal in Banff and the young lady at the information gave us the Maple Leaf suggestion. It was spectacular. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the service was attentive but not overboard. The complimentary bread was divine. I can't think of one thing to complain about. It was a quiet place in the... More

Absolutly great, good simple food, super nice service, and great location right in the center of Banff. The crab cakes and the chocolate soufflé were especially good. Well worth a visit!

We are a family of 5, and really enjoyed the dinner at Maple Leaf. Medium high budget, but very good quality and good atmosphere. Try the bison tenderloin and crab cakes (which taste like croquettes crevettes but with crab). We ordered the Los800 Priorat wine for only 55$, A great wine (but 15%vol!) which goes perfectly with the somewhat sweet... More

Every restaurant has a bad night. Maybe we hit the Maple Leaf's. We made reservations thru our hotel and expected a nice table. We were taken up steep stairs to a loud, packed room, tiny table. We asked if we could be reseated in the bar area that was open with very comfortable chairs and they accommodated us. It was... More

We stumbled upon this resteraunt and ended up staying the whole afternoon. The drink menu was so fun and had great happy hour prices. The chairs are so comfortable and the food menu had so many different choices. I can't wait to go back!

Fine dining and excellent service, but a bit pricey. At this time of year, Banff's very crowded so you might want to dine on the early side.

I really wanted to try some bison without eating a whole tenderloin. They had a bison stroganoff which fit the ticket perfectly! I had to get up early so I didn't want to eat to heavily. I ate at the bar and had wonderful service and with the menu selection my neighbor decided on the bison tenderloin, he was ecstatic... More

Service was fairly good but took a while to get our wine, thought she had forgotten. Nice restaurant but felt like we were sitting in a main intersection, tons of waiters and hostesses constantly walking passed hurriedly, didn't feel relaxing. I had the steak with the onion ring on it. I just feel that a place of this calibre/price should... More
