10 years ago, my wife and l had one of the best ever Christmas Day meals in The Maple Leaf, Banff. We returned last week for my birthday. Essentially, nothing had changed. The restaurant had the same layout. We dined upstairs although we were given the choice of up or down. Our server was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and... More

The bread on the table was delicious- light and flavourful- and accompanied by oil and balsamic vinegar. We had a set menu to choose from. There was something for everyone- from Alberta beef to Sablefish.

Through business and personal travel I've had the opportunity to eat in restarurants in several countries in Europe and North America in the past couple of years and the meal we had recently at the Maple Leaf ranks right at the top. I had the Pork Tenderloin and my wife had a steak and both were phenomenal. Service and atmosphere... More

Great service and lunch menu selection. Really enjoyed brie and pear pizza. Would definitely recommend this restaurant as it's in heart of Banff.

Had a great evening at Maple Leaf. Recommended by a friend, lived up to the hype. Went for a steak and left very satisfied. Good portion sizes, quick food service and very polite waiter/waitresses . Will recommend and will return

We have been to the Maple Leaf many times and it is always impressive. We particularly like their seafood towers which, although quite expensive, are fantastic and worth the money. The snow crab in particular is wonderful. Very good and friendly service.

A good spot for a couples meal. We've taken our kids but it is more conducive to adult dining...food is really good, location and atmosphere is cool but we've found the service to be a bit aloof...

Not cheap the largest wine list I have ever come across. The portion size is manageable extremely well presented and cooked as requested. Finer dining than most other resturants around Banff, mixed age ranges and parties. Love the décor. Try to request an upstairs window seat for views - we booked using open table via internet months in advance so... More

We were referred to Maple Leaf by our Concierge and it was very good. Very well done atmosphere... We were in a semi private room that could double for a mountainside cabin...antique ski poles and all. Leo, our server was outstanding. A part of the establishment, Leo was as informative and efficient as I can recall any server in some... More

My husband and 2 teenage daughters ate here on New Year's Day. I had booked the reservation through open table and requested a table by the fireplace. They did meet our request and they put us by the fireplace in a back room on the main floor. We really liked the atmosphere at the Maple Leaf and we were anticipating... More
