We came to eat dinner after along day of hiking so we were pretty hungry, it took quite some time for the food to come but when it did it was good and the prices are really descent for the food you get.

Food exceeded our expectations. Naan was excellent and fresh from the tandoor oven. All three dishes tasted delicious. We ordered Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo and Lamb Karahi. We are Indians and my wife's a great cook and we can vouch for the authentic taste of these dishes. Food from this restaurant rivaled the best Indian restaurants from Toronto or London,... More

A bit on the pricey side for what you get but considering this is Banff, I guess this is the best Indian food you can get in this small town. Service is definitely slow - they need to hire some more staff.

Amazing service. Reasonable prices. Delectable fare. One of the best places for Indian food - and I am of Indian origin. Would recommend

We usually try to eat here whenever we come to Banff. On this particular visit the food was very well prepared and the service was friendly and attentive. The butter chicken was exceptional. Tandoori chicken was tender and delicious. We have had many mediocre meals at Banff but never at Masala.

Excellent Indian (North Indian and Vegetarian) food. Went there TWICE in one week while on two weeks vacation. Lamb curry (Kariah and Gost) was extremely tender and balancing spices. Chicken dishes were very good too. Vegetarian dishes - they loved it too. Arrive very early and order everything you need - including fresh onions, pickles etc - at the order... More

Authentic, great tasting Indian food Banff. The Bison Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala were especially good. My kids loved the Mango Lassis. Attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. A real find!

All seemed to be going well with as my partner and I had beef samosas for starter which were a little dry but the beef was tasty enough to compensate for that. Then came the mains... My partner ordered the Chicken Korma whilst I had the Chicken Tikka Masala (in an attempt to play it safe on a fairly limited... More

My husband and I went there on our trip to Banff, and we loved the food. It was really good, quality food. The only reason I am not giving it the highest rating is that we had to wait for a long time to get our food. It seems that they get overwhelmed when the restaurant fills up...

Are here with my partner, the restaurant had and authentic feel and the food was freshly made. However it wasn't quite what we expected and the portions are fairly large. The samosas were more like short crust pastry than filo, but the filling was tasty. Our mains were disappointing, mine was way too spice and the prawns were tough. My... More
