Gem in Banff...Best Dining There Could Be

The service was superb, the quality of the food superb and the preparation of the food just delicious. This is a must in Banff. The food was finger licking good. We would definitely return. The restaurant also has an attached bistro like setting for a much more casual experience if you prefer.

The restaurant has two sides; we chose the Bistro Cafe de Paris. We selected the House Specialty: Entrecôte "Cafe De Paris" $ 36.00 CAD Included were Escargot, Caesar salad or Soup du Jour + an 8oz. strip steak finished table side in "Cafe de Paris" sauce in a hot chafing dish, pommes frites and profiteroles. It was scrumptious and the... More

This is a GREAT French restaurant...... And the iced tea was truly the best I have ever had. The food was great. Our party of four had four different entres. I had a great steak. My wife had lamb chops. She claimed they were as good as any she ever had. Our friends had a goat cheese salad, tomato soup... More

We took the steps to this second floor restaurant and where warmly welcomed, then had what turned out to be a regular tasting meal. From the salad to the bison burger it was ok but nothing special.

The service was excellent proving recommendations. They attended to my wife's gluten and dairy allergies. She loved the lamb while I enjoyed the wild boar. Great view of the museum and mountains in background. The wine menus offered a selection for all tastes starting around 65$ a bottle to $$$ if you wish. A great place to taste french cuisine... I took my parents here for the 6 course meal, my mother had the $60 option wine pairing. Each course was better than the one before it. Food was cooked to perfection, and timed perfectly between each course. Our server was very knowledgable on the wines for each course as well as the courses themselves. Definitely pricey, but worth every... More

It is always good to have fond memories of a place. Ate here several years ago. The food is still good. Servers were polite. Slightly cold reception.

Amazing atmosphere, view and service. Affordable for the portions and quality of food. Highly recommend for any occasion. Family run restaurant with owner present. To give you an idea how good it is, my wife told the waiter she had just made out with her meal lol.

My husband and I visited Le Beaujolais in the early 1980's and had such a memorable evening, when we had the opportunity this spring, we returned to take a journey down memory lane. Food and service excellent (had the Sole Meuniere and crème caramel). Lovely atmosphere.

We travel to Banff a lot and had never eaten here. The food was very good. Service was excellent. Located second floor near the Park at the end of Banff Ave. Great views and very quiet. Old school dining experience, not a casual place to dine but more upscale.
