Good Dinner

We ate dinner here while in Banff and had a nice meal. We had a burger $13.50 delicious and an 8oz. filet $40.50 which my husband really enjoyed. We also had a beer $5.75 and a 9oz. glass of wine $13.50. The food was very good and the service was very attentive. Entrees are served with bread and... read more

We had dinner here tonight and it was like having a home cooked meal. It was tasty and the portion sizes were good too. The service was attentive and courteous and pricing was great. Would eat here again and would recommend it to family and friends traveling to Banff.

Came in for breakfast. I asked the server what was the best selling item on breakfast menu, he told me it was the crab and asparagus omelet. So I ordered it Meal came quick as it was not that busy. I was a little disappointed because my omelet had the fake crab (sirimi) and frozen asparagus. The eggs looked like... More

My wife and I, while travelling in the Banff area, decided to have breakfast at Melissa's restaurant and bar. Melissa's is noted for its great steak menu at lunch and dinner. We experienced a great breakfast. I had one pancake that was enormous. It was the size of an entire plate. My wife had an omelette and toast. The service... More

If you are visiting Banff you have to do breakfast here. This is the only original restaurant left from when I grew up here as a kid. My mother even waitressed here. Service could be better and a little more effort in the kitchen wouldn't hurt but the overall experience is worth it. Do try the banana bread french toast... More

We went here for breakfast after a big night out on the town. We were told to be there before 10 am on the weekend as it gets really busy. I had the traditional eggs bennie and my friend had the big breakfast. The breakfasts were both very good and we usually come here every time we are in Banff.... More

Good, hearty portions. Had eggs, Canadian bacon, hash browns , toast. Seating was quick. Service was prompted, friendly. Not fancy but that had more to do with what I ordered. Canadian bacon was thick cut and generous portion (3 slices). Family friendly.

We go to Melissa's every time we visit Banff and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always as fast as possible considering how busy it is. We had breakfast on our last trip and it was delicious and filling! We recommend checking this place out no matter the time of day or evening.

This is an interesting place as you dine in a "great room" with very high ceilings and a very interesting flag collection. Not all of the food is outstanding, but the eggs benedict is particularly good and they aren't stingy on the hollandaise sauce. It is an interesting place to have a reasonable meal and decent service. I wish they... More

When we arrived they were busy...we requested a booth. ...although there were just two of us they escorted us to the back and gave us a huge round 6 person booth all to ourselves!!! It was great!!!
