Both my wife and I had the elk medallions. Amazing. Ryan waited on us and was very professional and friendly. Maple creme brulé for dessert was delicious as well. Recommend this place for a quiet romantic dinner.

First visit to this lounge, a short walk from our hotel. I had a craving for Nachos. Many places don't know how to make nachos adding such dismal stuff as olives! Anyway we had great tasting nachos. I had a fabulous cocktail (it must have been good because I don't remember what it was called!). The bartender/waitress was a delight.... More

I'm sure the Evergreen is a little less visited than many Banff restaurants, due to being located a couple of blocks past the downtown core. I had a late dinner here while staying in the connected hotel and Wow, what an excellent meal. I really enjoyed an herb encrusted Rack of Lamb along with roasted potatoes and vegetables. The Lamb... We thoroughly loved our meal of duck and seafood entrees as recommend by the excellent waiter Mason. The service was outstanding and the food really was tremendously delicious. This restaurant seems to be kind of under the radar but it's among the very best in Banff.

We have a tradition of dining at the Evergreen every time we come to Banff. Up until now they have never disappointed. Since we visited last, the the wine list has shrunk, and become uneven. I really wanted Cabernet Sauvignon, and I could not find this on the list. The variety seemed lacking. I started with the char grilled Caesar... More

Banff offers the traveller a great choice in eating places, but we wanted to celebrate 35 years anniversary somewhere a bit special and we were not disappointed here. Fortunately the snow that day did not prevent us walking the few meters from our own hotel! Service and food was excellent - (do try the elk) and we shared a starter,... More

Picked this one from the Trip V reviews. Nice setting and very good service. Ordered the Crab roll appetizers ( spicy and very good), and had the Ceasar salad ( Excellent). For my entre I had the Orange Roasted Duck ( cook medium = perfectly!). The orange sauce was very strong ( I prefer a more subtle sauce and let... More

We were in a large party and and the food was a buffet service but at times the staff struggled with the service of cutlery and china. Service very slow on second night as a lot of people stayed in the hotel to eat because of the snow
