We were greeted warmly by the host and had to wait a bit. No big deal. We were sat and then the fun began. Our server was miserable and unfriendly toward us. She took our order.. a sandwich/soup combo and a flatbread. 20 minutes later we received them with no checkup or 'sorry for the wait'. I've worked in professional... More

The two of us stopped in for lunch and ended up spending $70 without any alcohol...given the size of the portions and quality of the food, it wouldn't have even been good value for dinner. The entrees had good flavors but the portions were somewhat small. The pizza advertised having a corn crusted dough but mine did not...not a big... More

Don't miss a visit to this place. Its unique and welcoming, with rustic decor, great food and good prices. The service was also excellent. It's the kind of place you're happy to return to. You can sit at the bar or at the tables, and while you eat you can watch the chefs preparing meals. Great place.

Ate here 10 years ago when visiting Banff. So glad it was still there. The homemade soups and cornbread are delicious. They have great breakfast choices and wonderful selections of sandwiches. I really enjoyed the veggie sandwich grilled. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our meal. We had a hard time deciding what to order. All of our dishes were excellent. We enjoyed the small restaurant atmosphere as well. We would definitely return if we are in Banff.

The Chicken Supreme (25) consisted of marinated grilled chicken breast served with potato and a mixture of veg. Very tangy and tasty, and perfectly cooked. The Wildberry Crumble Sour Cream Pie (8) was good, but not very deep. Overall, a satisfying meal. This smallish, busy place has been in Banff for over 20 years.

I came here with my friend and we had the Mountain Women Breakfast, and it's soooooo good, best breakfast I've ever had. The pancakes were so fluffy and so good with real Canadian maple syrup, Canadian bacon was mouth watering, we almost licked the plate clean. Totally recommend it to anyone going to Banff. If I visit again, that would... More

We ate dinner here recently and the food was fantastic - especially the homemade cornbread. Great service and reasonably priced!
