Long wait but good food

We stopped by this popular restaurant on the Saturday of Easter weekend. Banff was very busy as usual on a long weekend and Bruno's was no different, even though we stopped after 1pm it was still quite a wait for the four of us to get seated. Partly this was due to the very small dining area and... read more

I was a little taken aback when I walked in by the surroundings, but we were greeted by a friendly server. Our food was brought out quickly. The French toast with berries was delicious! The breakfast burrito was very large but not as flavorful as I would have liked. The side of potatoes was very crispy and tasty. The large... More

Bruno's has all day breakfast. The food was your average Canadian fare. Good size portions and very reasonable prices.. It was definitely a local hangout.... but had tourists there as well. Entertaining, as the couple in the next booth started their day (about 9:30am) with a tequila shot each. Way to kick start your day! lol. If you're looking for... More

As an ex-local, I love places that make me feel like I'm back in my Banff glory days! Bruno's does the trick. Good solid food (eggs Benny with homemade hollandaise) nothing fancy, but a neat idea here and there, and the atmosphere to match. It isn't brand new or posh, but there's plenty of that all around town, so that's... More

Service was good, food was okay and the drinks (Orange juice) were gross. I got the breakfast burrito and my boyfriend has the traditional breakfast. Neither were great the burrito didn't have a whole lot of flavor and was fairly greasy. The orange juice we had both orders was somewhat water when we got it but by the time we... More

If you are craving breakfast for dinner this is the place to come. They serve breakfast all day and it is delicious. The eggs don't taste like they come from powder and the sausages are delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for those looking for a quiet bar where the locals hang out.

Definitely a place for cheap drinks. The drinks are decent and the food and promised internet service is way below expectations. I ordered a BLT for breakfast - $10 CND + $1 for the addition of chunky inedible cucumbers. The entire sandwich had 4 slices of crumpled fatty tasteless bacon. It was accompanied by overcooked under-seasoned potatoes. To be fair,... More

Food was good and at a fair price. We found the place is a little run down inside and could defiantly use a make over. Service was good and staff friendly.

Food is good and plentiful, very standard menu and not a lot of choices but still very good, I found the service was very good. Got there just before the Sunday morning crowd but didn't feel pressured or hurried. Two thumbs up!

Went to Bruno's last night for a couple drinks and to listen to the live music they had.. The musician was great! so we had a bit of a dance with everyone else which was all fun until i get a massive shove out of the way from behind from the very rude bar tender.. im not sure his name... More
