Avoid the Icefields Restaurant.

Over priced boring, cardboard toast, minimalist over priced helpings. A complete tourist rip off. We had coffee, pancakes, toast, and two eggs for $35 and it was all awful.

Seriously, if you can avoid this restaurant please do. Maybe if business falls off the Park will actually get someone in to run the restaurant properly. The service is absolutely atrocious. I found their prices offensive, especially the 15% Service Charge, as well as the absolute lack of service. Who ever is in charge of hiring or the contract for... More

While the Icefields are a great attraction, bring your own food or skip a meal. I would give it minus 10 stars if I could. High prices for low quality. While you might expect to pay somewhat more in a remote location, $28 for an inedible assortment of overcooked dishes is way too much.

We just visited the icefields this past week and ended up camping in the parking lot over night so thought we would dine in at the restaurant. I was disgusted at the first glance at the menu, the prices were outrages. $20-24 burgers $30.00 steaks, kids menu Grilled cheese and fry's $10.00. Family of four $99.00 with waters! The food... My pocket book that is. We ate at the cafeteria (because the restaurant prices are highway robbery!) just slightly before closing on what I heard was one of their busiest days of the summer so far. The food itself wasn't bad. But the prices are horrendous. Charging 6.95 for a real basic low quality grilled cheese sandwich is unreal. Service... More

We arrived at lunchtime and the entire building is horribly rammed. Hubby suggested the lunch time buffet - not cheap at $28 per adult and $20 for our 9 year old son. Luckily, as our son has a rather limited palate, we asked to take a look before settling in and were directed to about 10 dishes of stodgy looking... More

They were nice enough to provide us breakfast early, as we were staying at the Glacier inn. Chinese Management and not the friendliest but will do. They get supplies infrequently, so may run out of fruits etc sometimes

There were many hot, cold, fresh, choices to suit any palette. The service was quick and the check was efficient. There were ample tables for the busy July holiday season. The floor to ceiling windows offered great views of the glacier.

This restaurant is not just bad ... it's appalling. For C$28 you get a buffet where you have a choice of several versions of lumps of gristle floating in fatty fluid. Nothing edible. "Never mind" I thought ... "I'll just pig out on dessert". Wrong again .... dessert was a selection of prehistoric bits of pastry held together by pink... More

No one must suffer the misfortune of eating here. Trust me on this one. There is no other place where one can eat and this place is the only one. The food qualifies for the top spot in the 'worst food in the world' category. The price is a rip off. The staff are grumpy and treat the guests like... More
