Amazing BeaverTails Desserts

The BeaverTails desserts were described as deliciously addictive, and they are that. Our group loved the Skor Cheesecake and Oreo Beavertails. They are large and very sweet - but they are a great reward after a day of hiking.

Who doesn't like a sweet, sugar coated deep fried treat? The beavertails look huge, but are so addictive, that you will probably finish it all. My only disappointment was that the oil used to deepfry looked a little dark and old, which was evident in the dark color of my beavertail. Still delicous nonetheless.

This is a must have treat. There are several different ways to have this pastry type treat. The original way with cinnamon and sugar is one of the best ways.

In my opinion it was just average, nothing special but nothing bad. It was extremely overpriced, but it is Banff so what can you expect. I personally thought the beaver tails were too sweet and had a lot of sugar but that's just me.

First bite made me think of skating along the canal even though it has been 20+ years since i was there as a child.

These hot and freshly made pastries are a wonderful treat. There are many toppings to choose from, too. You can pick a combo selection from the menu or create your own flavor combination. Eating it can be messy so grab extra napkins! These desserts are rich and not diet friendly, but oh so good! Brought back memories of Montreal, where... More

Wanted a beaver tail for a long time and this was the spot to get one. Delicious. Had the Choc Hazelnut one and it was great. Staff were very helpful as I took my time with all the choices. Come here for dessert, a snack or buy like 6 and that can be your dinner. Regardless, you'll love them.

Even in the snow and wind I stopped here for a beaver tail and ate it outside. Lovely staff and lots of options on the menu (though I went traditional). Definitely a must try (even though I still think of the Rideau Canal in February in Ottawa when I eat one.

I've had beaver tails before in Ottawa and other points east. Years ago. So of course I had to try one here for old time's sake. I went with the half and half version with cinnamon and sugar on one side and chocolate and bananas on the other. Hot, sweet, and I don't want to know how many calories. I... More
