Having read several favourable reviews about Beaver Tails we tried it out on three separate occasions and were not disappointed. Great flavours of ice cream - not excellent but, nonetheless, very good.

We were looking for dessert after dinner on Banff Avenue, saw people walking by eating the fried dough. We traced it to the store. It's more of a frozen yogurt place. We had to try the beaver tail, so ordered a cinnamon and sugar to share, as it looked too big for one person. It was so yummy that my... More

We visited Beaver Tails by chance after we saw some peoples walking with that yummy tails. Myself got no. 3 "the maple topped" - it was really delicious, my wife got no. 8 "chocolate with banana", my little daughter got no. 2 "just chocolate" and repeated her order! That's a must try pie with your choice of toppings!

We really enjoyed their pizza and salad selection. Definitely worth a visit. Prices reasonable compared to other restaurants in town.

When planning our Banff trip I heard about these beaver tails and knew I had to try them. They did not disappoint. I had my beaver tail with cinnamon sugar & it was awesome. My husband had his with hazelnut spread & reeses pieces. He liked his, but tasted mine & has some food envy. I think cinnamon sugar is... More

Had never heard of Beaver Tails before but after seeing others enjoying them so much, we just had to try one. What a treat! We had them with apple and cinnamon on top, wow, they were just the best things ever. Rather large in size but a good sized meal for a man. My husband polished off what I couldn't... More

We had to try Beaver Tails after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We stopped in for a mid morning snack. We had the one with cinnamon and sugar. OMG so good. Forget calories it's worth it. Don't leave Banff without trying a Tail.

We went to this location and had the Beaver bites with maple frozen yogurt, and a Beaver tail with Skor. We went twice during our week visit. Wishing there was a location here in Texas. A must try at least once.

A lot like an elephant ear -- fried dough and then topped with a glaze. Since we were in Canada, we all chose a maple topping. It was actually a little big for one person, but we managed to choke them down anyway!

We were so excited to find out there is a Beavertails in Banff. We were looking forward to having a Beavertail and we were not disappointed! A Beavertail is a deep fried pastry, in the shape of a Beavertail, with delicious toppings. We ordered the Hazelnut Chocolate Banana one, the Reese's Pieces one, the Skor one and the Oreo one....
