So glad this Ottawa Classic made it out west. Classic with cinnamon and sugar and lemon was great, so is Nutella. All good, just enjoy.

Oh my goodness, these are so delicious. I read many of the reviews of people who ordered more extensive toppings, but the cinnamon sugar sounded good to me, and the lady behind the counter assured me it is the most popular flavor. The beaver tail is a flat dough that is fried so it is slightly crispy, and then covered... More

You could seriously go broke here. The food is wonderful. We enjoyed our tails so much we had one with breakfest a bit of sugar to jump start the day. So do not miss this place they have two shops in town and they are only in banff.

Service was slow. The pastry was soaked in oil and the price ridiculous. I bought because others have said they were so big and tastey. Skip the hype, they are nothing special. $7 bucks for a flattened doughnut with sprinkles.

I nipped out to purchase one of these for me and one for my partner who was getting ready back at the hotel. We had saw loads of people walking around the town with them an had resisted the urge to lean over and bite one long enough! They cost about $5-7 per tail depending on the topping you decide... More

My hubby and I split one of these (they are huge), and thoroughly enjoyed it. He had apple-cinnamon on his side, and I had Nutella/banana. I liked my side better. The line varies - when we got there, there was no line but when we left it was out the door.

I didn't realize what this little place served until I saw someone eating a beaver tail at the little table outside. It looked like the perfect vacation treat- you know, the thing a normally conscientious I only eat healthy person would never have. But then I decided that a tail with chocolate sauce, peanut butter and Reese's pieces covered most... More

Beaver tails are so very delicious. Nom Nom. You have to try one at least once in your lifetime. Probably not healthy but oh so good.

After reading about Beavertails on Trip Advisor I promised the kids they could have one. The kids were not disappointed, yummy, freshly fried sweet bread with heavenly sugary toppings. Certainly not my thing but they all loved them.
