Tried the gluten free sandwich and the bun tasted like it had been in the freezer forever. Ended up just eating the contents and tossing the crumbling stale bun in the bin. Have had sandwiches from here before that were good but if you can't have gluten you should go somewhere else. Very disappointing.

Our tour bus driver recommended this cafe to us when we arrived in Banff about 12.30 and he was right on the money! We shared a lovely bowl of homemade soup and a Tuna sandwich, they were both delicious and there was plenty to keep us going till dinner time. We have no hesitation in recommending this cafe for a snack/meal.Don't... More

Had the Reuben. No complaints about the sandwich, but it way overpriced. The Montreal steak sandwich is about the same price, but much smaller. Get the Reuben if you get anything at all.

The Reuben is a beast of a sandwich - absolutely delicious! Sandwiches are freshly made there and then, little bit on the pricey side but the size and taste make up for it

In our four days in Banff this was our lunch destination on more than one occasion. Whether it was the shrimp with cocktail sauce or the piled high turkey, these are huge sandwiches with huge flavor. On the pricey side but almost big enough to split. And certainly worth the splurge.

Had the sandwiches been made in a more timely fashion - you know like 10-15 minutes max - they might have been fantastic. But after waiting at least 45 minutes I would hope it would be the best sandwich I've ever eaten. It was a good sandwich, but I wouldn't wait that long to have one again.

Spotted a recommendation for squish and so went there on our last day in Banff. Sandwiches were all freshly made but service was still excellent. There was a good choice of filings and I could have any of the found in a gluten free bun. The gluten free sandwich was excellent and this included the bread, why can we not... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch - we thought. It's in the basement of a building on the Main Street. The service was slow & the sandwiches expensive, but then Banff is a tourist trap. One of our party of 6 found a hair in his sandwich, but aside from that the sandwiches were pretty good. (It should be said... More

We were headed to the airport and placed an order to go. It took almost 20 minutes to put together 3 sandwiches, yes I looked at my watch. The “chips” consisted of a total of 6 potato chips, yes I counted. The shake was about 80% filled, yes I looked. My daughter thought the Ruben was fatty and ate only... More
