We had the special of the night which included butternut squash soup, duck, profiteroles. Everything was lick your plate delicious. My husband and I both agreed it was the best duck we've ever enjoyed.

Attentive and friendly service, wide variety menu, preparation and presentation were very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate here several times in July, August , and September, for lunch and dinner. It was a four star experience at first , but the last two times both the food and service slipped. Their signature dish was nice but not spectacular, the green salad was poorly presented. Since this is a bistro, dinner did not come with bread,... More

We had both lunch and dinner at the Bistro Café de Paris during our stay in Banff. At lunch time, we had both breakfast (very nicely seasoned potatoes and bacon), salad and a pate appetizer. At dinner, the salad, rillettes, and beef bourguignon were very satisfying. Decent wines by the glass. The food was well seasoned and everything we ordered... More

We had a lovely dinner and, as frequent visitors to France, we were not disappointed with the food. It was so nice to be offered something different from the usual menu items. Service was very good and attentive. We'll definitely go back.

This is evidently an up market restaurant at night but it is open for lunch and brunch, it seemed quiet so we tried it as most places in Banff were heaving due to a special event. The service was quick and there was a nice selection of light meals on the menu. We often for a grilled chicken sandwich, served... More

We happened upon the Bistro Cafe De Paris on our first morning in Banff. The waitress was pleasant and took our order quickly while delivering coffee and cold water to our table. She took the time to answer a few questions and asked about our vacation. Our food was excellent and there was a nice view out the second floor... More

Anyone who has had a real coq au vin knows it has a wonderful medley of flavours and is among the best of the dishes of France. Bistro Cafe De Paris version was almost inedible. The chicken had been cooked so long it had no flavour, and it was served with chopped up root vegetables which, apparently, had been boiled... More

Went for breakfast which I think is new for them. Waited to be acknowledged for about 10 min. The only reason we stayed is because it was Sunday and there were lines everywhere. Once sat, waited 5 min. For waitress, brought my mother in laws tea immediately, our coffee? No. Ordered breakfast, still no coffee, asked another waitress, still no coffee,... More
