Excellent food!

Try everything! From their Ramen to their Udon to their Donburi, everything's delicious. My fave is their Tan-Tan ramen, I've had it during one of the coldest days. I had miso ramen and my husband had tan-tan ramen (spicy). Both are really tasty. This place is tiny and gets full very quickly. Avoid lunch and supper time so you are guarantee to get a seat.

First ramen I ever had and I was not disappointed. I'm coming back here when visiting banff. Tip: call them for reservation cause its pretty busy and they only have small space.

We love ramen and I don't know if it was because we were so cold that anything warm would be welcome but this is the best ramen I have ever had! get the hot and spicy! so good!

Nice if you want a quick snack (sushi) or a bowl of ramen. It is a $$ place, but tastes like Japan. Located near McDonalds, in case you can't find it.

The food is good, it is quite authentic and not pricey at all. It is a really small space though, so you might have to wait a while to get a table. The service is not that great a lot of the times. The ladies who work there tend to be a bit scary. We once got yelled at because... More

Great Banff luch spot. Delicious soups, noodle bowls, dumplings and some sushi. We had spicy peanut noodle soup, gyoza and a chicken veggie rice bowl. Prices are reasonable; my soup was 12 dollars! Well worth a lunch stop!

This is a very small place with about 9 tables. You place your order and then your food is brought out to you. If you like Inexpensive Japanese then this is the place for you. They also have sushi rolls. Their Ramen Noodles Soups are very good and have large portions. If you get ther before 5 PM you'll get... More

This is a little Banff gem that can be very busy at Lunch and Supper, but worth the wait. Very popular with the local crowd, Chaya does great Ramen and the rest of the menu is true to form. Eat here!

Traveling from Vancouver, we were missing our ramen. We were so excited by the rave reviews about this tiny place in Banff, we had to try it. We came out with such a disappointing experience, even our eight year old foodie couldn't give it a thumbs up. The first evening, we were hoping to stop in for an evening snack.... More
