We stayed here for 3 fabulous nights, wonderful authentic canadian cabin. The food was truly amazing, we shared the charcuterie board,to start, the selection of local meats and cheese was delicious. I had the rack of lamb and I have to say this was one of the best meals I have ever tasted, my husband had the halibut , the flavours... More

Uniqu spot with great ambience in a rustic and cosy historical setting. Food is not inexpensive but it is quality. Didnt know this place existed until we were hiking andsaw the sign out side off hwy 93. Worth the drive, close to Banff Louise parkway. Nice gift shop with some really interesting Canadian history and buffalo products among other things.

This was a return trip for our sixth anniversary. We first ate at Storm Mountain Lodge two years ago and decided to return again this year. We were just as satisfied with the food, service and surroundings this time. Our entrees and side dishes were unique and delicious. We love the cozy, intimate atmosphere of Storm Mountain Lodge. The homemade... More

We spent 4 weeks or so in Canada, eating at some nice places, but we agreed that the meal at Storm Mountain was one of the very best that we ate on that holiday. I'll say at the outset that it was also the most expensive. I've paid more ($80 for a Wagyu steak in Canberra), but this time, the... More

Decided to drop in for lunch based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Lunch menu was very limited but both our dishes were just excellent. The spicy corn chowder is highly recommended. Something as simple as corn chowder but oh so good! It is out of the way but well worth the trip.

Stopped here for a cafe and hot chocolate. Well worth it for the ambience, log fire and prompt service. Would loved to have had longer time to dine here and even to stay a night or two.

Delicious food. Romantic ambiance. Relaxed, cozy, authentic. You can have a drink on the comfy couch by the fireplace before you sit at your table. And return there afterwards for coffee if you like. The views of the snowy mountains are stunning. The staff are friendly, extremely professional, and make good recommendations. Excellent wine selection. It's very pricey, but this... More

Having not been to Storm Mountain in over 10 years, thought we were overdue for a visit. We weren't disappointed a great corn soup and bison burger, small menu and craft beers, made for an enjoyable break from driving. highly recommend this historic site 92 years old.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying and eating at Storm Mountain. The food was first-rate. I had the crusted rack of lamb with rosemary potatoes and fig jam. Delicious. My daughter had the gnocchi with ragout of mushrooms and raved about it. We had been dissapinted with the food in the area until this!

Four of us ate here and had three different entrees. All the food was very good although the preparation was a bit less sophisticated than, say, the Maple Leaf in Banff or Crazy Weed in Canmore. The lodge is certainly among the most charming places I've ever eaten. My main objection is that the meals were really overpriced--substantially more than... More
