We love this place. Great location if you love quiet places. They serve really delicious food. I ate duck, lam, bison there. We go there few times a year to celebrate. If you want to have unforgettable experience think about staying there for weekend. They have cozy cabins great for couples.

No exaggeration ..... we stayed here for two nights and had supper here both nights and I had the best meal EVER in my life !! The Chef is very very clever .... the pairings of food and tastes were out of this world. I could go on and on about it. BEST MEAL EVER. I am 52 years old.... More

We stopped at the Storm Mountain Lodge for dinner on a whim while returning to Banff from a day spent along the Bow Valley Parkway. We had seen positive reviews about the Lodge dining room on TA during our pre-vacation research but hadn’t intended to dine there, assuming it didn’t fit our itinerary. It was Tuesday night around 7p.m. and... More

Wonderful lunch experience. The food is outstanding featuring lots of natural ingredients. Small menu but there will be something for everyone. The corn soup is wonderful. Fast, friendly service and you can't beat the setting. The lodge was built in 1922. Wondeful wood fire as it was a rainy day added to the warmth and hospitality of the lunch. Highly... More

This is a little gem off the main "Banff-Lake Louise track". You have to veer off of the main #1 highway going south on Highway 93 to find it...but it takes no more than 10 minutes up the hill and is worth the trip. The lodge has a number of cottages for rent, which unfortunately I have never stayed in.... More

We have had 2 opportunities to dine in the restaurant and are planning a weekend get away in the lodge in a few week and just can't stop thinking about what to eat this time…My husband had the lamb twice and it was truly amazing both times and I don't normally like lamb. Even that sauces and sides that come... More

This place is truly special - the food was expensive, but outstanding quality for taste and presentation. The serving size was generous, I couldn't finish my elk dish, but we also had a cheese platter and local game meat starter, plus fruit crumble for dessert. Awesome! The menu showcased local game meats, which was great for an authentic Banff experience.... More

We had the best bison steak ever!!! Excellent food, great choices! The cabins are adorable and the place is beyond charming! Being able to have our little dog with us was a plus! Thank you for the great weekend!

This venue had so many positive reviews that is was a must to stop for lunch en route back to Calgary after savouring Banff and Lake Louise . . . No question about it, this type of historic destination almost does NOT exist any more, except in older remote locales such as Banff, Canada? Only one server for the entire... More
