Bruceliere take away??

We've just had a wonderful Bruceliere meal, but not at the restaurant. On Christmas Day and New Year's Eve, the proprietors spend the time with their families, but provide special take away menus. We've just had one with French friends, who wanted to try La Bruceliere on our recommendation, but... read more

We chose the 4-course menu, which also came with bites before dinner and after. Exposed to lots of new tastes, including some type of red fish, pigeon, and more cheese than I typically eat in 6 months. The cheese course consists of a server rolling out a cart of 15-20 cheeses. You get to select what you want. You get... More

Absolutely fantastic meal, excellent service and lovely surroundings. By far the best meal I've had in ages, and in my opinion one of the best restaurants in the region. Given the quality of food it's excellent value for money.

I think this is the nicest restaurant in Issigeac. In the Summer we usually sit outside on the lovely terrace, this is the first time we have eaten inside. Beautiful room. Set menu at 18.80 euros is exceptional value. The food was excellent. I had venison for a main and it was delicious. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented. I... More

We were very lucky to find space at this excellent restaurant with excellent food and a good atmosphere. The recommended dishes were very well presented and provided real value for money. When we are next in the area we will book early to make sure that we can get a table.

This is a small village restaurant that serves excellent and always varied meals. Run by a husband and wife team, the food is beautifully presented and delicious. My vegetarian meals are equally pretty and tasty, a difficult combination in France.

Friendly service at this family run restaurant. The menu is interesting and pretty extensive. We've never had anything but excellent food. Watch out for the specials they can be superb. I've eaten here many times over the years and it's always first on our list on our return to Issigeac. The wine list has some great local wine on it... More

Have been going here for a number of years every summer. It simply is magical, food quality is exceptional with local produce served, it was duck season in August and the 3 course menu at 35 euros was good value and wines are not expensive at 20 euros for the house wine. make sure you book in advance and get...
