Had a really fantastic meal here. Came for dinner with 2 kids and had a delicious 3 course dinner. There was no official kids menu but they shared a main of salmon from the a la carte which was absolutely delicious and as big as our mains although they were only charged half price. Lots of delicious extras and wine... More

It's hard to pick a fault with La Bruceliere. Our party of three each had different entrees and mains and all were delighted. Good service, nice ambience, and reasonable prices.

We went again this year on 26th July, and it never disappoints. Our fourth or fifth visit, although usually in September, it was good to enjoy the alfresco experience, beautifully done. Food is always first class, well presented, and with wonderful flavoursome food. Good reasonably priced wine list includes some very local and amazing value wines. Dinner for two at around... More

Came here a few days ago with my girlfriend on our anniversary, food was outstanding. One of the best meals we have ever had in a truly French romantic atmosphere. High quality food with great choices and a high standard of service. Would most defiantly recommend the restaurant to anyone and will be most certainly be returning ourselves!!

From the outside, it is an unassuming house across from the local garage in this quaint little village. Coming through the front door though, the room opens out onto the most welcoming patio and garden. We had the most lovely lunch at this fine establishment while staying in nearby Le Tendoux this summer. The owner Helene is the most gracious... More

Our first visit to La Bruceliere, although we long intended to dine there before. What an experience, perfect table on the terrace on a balmy evening (not been too many of those so far in July!) A refreshing aperetif and a longing look at the menus, followed by an amuse bouche to tempt the palate. Perfectly presented starters followed by... More

Tip: book in advance as it gets full easily. For us La Bruceliere was a great surprise. Great quality menu, reasonably priced. A real quality restaurant. Service could be a bit slow but given it is in a holiday destination it was no big issue for us. Highly recommended if you are in the area

Issigéac is a quaint village in the southernmost part of the Dordogne, which tourists like to visit. We asked the tourist office for a recommendation for lunch and got the info that "La Brucelière" is the place where the French go, but if we arrive without a reservation, we should be there before 12 a.m. for lunch. So we went... More

My wife, son and his fiancée, and I had a lovely lunch yesterday on the terrace. The veal shanks were meltingly tender; the scallops were perfectly prepared, with the surprising accompaniment of nut encrusted lamb sweetbreads and foie gras. The service was properly attentive and not overbearing. We had a wonderful experience.
