A stunning lunch

Reservation for lunch is essential at this remarkable restaurant. The food quality and presentation was just stunning. The chef deserves more stars than the milky way! We had a lovely dinner for four people at this wonderful restaurant. You have to book as it's really busy, but it's worth the wait! Simply, this was one of the best meals that we've had in many years - and we eat out a lot! The service and the wine list were very good and the food was simply... More

We had lunch here with our two kids. Around 18 euros for a two course meal. They provided something special for the kids (chicken with a potato and vegetable puree). The meal started with a set of three delicious starters. Then we had the saumon en papillote, also very good. We finished with a lovely dessert.

This is a small but perfectly formed restaurant, with a good exterior terrace. The carte is small, but with enough combinations to give you a good choice for several meals. The food is excellently cooked and beautifully presented. Service is excellent. Prices are good value. What more can one ask for!

Ate there twice over a 2 week period while renting a farmhouse about 4 kms outside of Issigeac. Every course was outstanding and the service was wonderful. Can't recommend it enough....

Lunch with friends on holiday who wanted very good french food, and we found it..A superb long lunch with excellent food and (expensive) wine throughout. Slow service but I'm afraid that is the way for Sunday lunch in this part of the world.. Frinds are back on hols again so another visit is planned.

We renewed our acquaintance with this great restaurant after coming back to France for the first time this year. The food is always of a high standard and the service friendly and attentive. Best restaurant in Issigeac by a country mile!

We live nearly an hour away, but regularly make the trip to enjoy a meal at this lovely restaurant as it's the best food we've found in the whole area. Cosy to sit inside in winter, lovely to eat on the covered terrace in summer, we have had numerous great meals here and always take our family here when they... More

We've eaten here a few times on visits to France and the food is consistently excellent. The service is also very good. A lovely selection of amuse-bouches provided by the chef was followed by entrees including mushroom and prawn pillows in a prawn bisque (yum!), asparagus and ham, and ox tail terrine. Our mains included goose and steak and were... More
