The best!

Just finished eating at Manao Cebicheria and it was a once in a lifetime experience. The owners were so wonderful to us, explaining the name of the restaurant and sharing local places to visit. We were warmly greeted by the Chef/Owners and treated to an excellent meal. The shrimp soup is a great starter. We split both the shrimp and fish tacos followed by tuna ceviche. All outstanding! Recommend reservations if you are coming for dinner as seating is limited.

Always great no matter the fish and preparation you choose. They buy the fish off the boats daily so the fish offered varies with what is fresh and top quality. Go here as it deserves its number one rating. Three for the price of two tacos on Monday as I recall. Special on ceviche one day too, maybe Thursday.

This is an update from my review last year. First, some logistics. It takes us seven minutes to walk here from the entrance of the Grand Mayan resort. To get here, turn left out of the front entrance of the Resort, walk straight until you come to the white bridge. Cross the street before you walk over the bridge, it... More

We have eaten @ Manao Cebricheria two years in a row and enjoyed both meals. We love that you can choose a fish among their fresh catches of the day and then choose a type of cerviche (they also provide recommendations on which types of cerviche is best with each type of fish). Times for preparation is listed for each... More

We stayed in Nuevo Vallarta in March and visited this restaurant twice while there. My DH and I both love raw fish and having read the reviews on TA knew we had to try it. So glad we did! A previous review said go early because if they run out of fish, they close. They were right! We got there... More

We had the salmon, tuna and Peruvian ceviche at this restaurant . It is a small very clean place at the bottom of a very nice high rise apartment. The hubby and wife are a very young couple from Mexico City. They are so efficient, friendly and are so passionate about creating new ceviches ' They also serve fish and... More

If you read all the other reviews, what is said is true ... and that's what brought us there originally. This husband and wife run restaurant is charming, refreshingly clean and just a great place to indulge the taste buds. They specialize in ceviche, and they do it well. If you're a newcomer to ceviche, it is like a great... More

You don't imagine you'd get world class fine dining quality food in a strip mall in some Florida looking part of the Pacific Coast of Mexico, but it seems you can, at around 150 pesos a dish. Make a reservation, as there is limited fish and limited seating. They were BYOB when we went there and they do not have... More

Amazing ceviches and the rest of the food. Unique gourmet food preparation and excellent attention from the hosts. I came back after more than a year and visited this place and the quality is still great! I'll be some more days in town and will certainly come back again before leaving. It would be great if we could have more... More
