This had been on our list for 2 years but never seemed to get there. We finally made it this trip. We stay at the Grand Mayan and knew it was within walking distance. We got a cab going and walked back. This restaurant is in a typical old Mexican neighborhood and kind of hard to find. It is a... More

An authentic Mexican restaurant near the Grand Mayan. Very, very reasonable prices with huge portions that were muy delicioso! In our group of 6, 4 had shrimp (choice of 6 different preparations). I had the shrimp with ajillo (garlic and chile, great flavor, not too spicy) sauce. Another had shrimp with garlic. Others had mahi mahi fillet and tacos with... More

This restaurant is hidden away in a small town about 30 minutes from Puerto Vallarta. There is a local bus you can catch at Walmart or a taxi will be about 170 pesos. A locals restaurant (but tourists welcome!) you will discover many traditional Mexican dishes. The portions are larger than you will find in many tourist restaurants, especially for... More

you really can't beat Titi's. The seafood is brought in daily, every fish they serve is catch of the day, their ceviche tostadas are the best and for about $1.25 a piece really can't beat that. the portions are large, so you can order and share, if going in with other people. I just love their shrimp and octopus tostadas,... More

Titi's is in a nearby town in Nayarit but easy to get to by cab. Food was wonderful and atmosphere was Mexican rustic. Loved it!!

The waitress was rude and not attentive to our table. I was told there was no filet and then the waitress came back with a plate of what I had ordered after I had told her I didn't want anything anymore. I do have to admit the food wasn't bad, but everything else was. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We went for a late dinner after reviewing recommendations on Tripa dvisor. First, it is in a local village very close to Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta. You need a taxi to go in and arrange for a pick up time. The setting is very authentic Mexican, no A/c, and Juke box blaring. late evening Mosquitos. The service was ok... More

We tried four different plates. All were very tasty. Filleted fish in garlic butter - very tender and juicy. Very generous portion of peel-it-yourself shrimp - cooked just right. Breaded fish "empanada" - 10-12 silver-dollar-sized pieces, lightly battered - cooked to perfection. Carne asada - very juicy fajita style beef with a few crispy, bean tacos and a generous portion... I had the best mexican meal of my life here. It is authentic, the food is fresh and the service is great. While we were having some great shrimp and group of mariachis played our favourite songs, you can pay them and choose any song to enjoy while you have your meal. We had camarones a la diabla and raw... More
