We have been going to this restaurant for about eight years (on Valentine's Day and my wife's birthday at the end of February). The food is still good and the waiter was one who has served us before. He has been there 18 years. In years past, we got a small "traditional" salad which we did not get this time.... More

First visit to an Argentinian restaurant so tried for variety and we had multiple appetizers. A great decision as all were delicious. We also enjoyed the Friday night bonus of 2 for 1 wine and you have multiple choices available. I had the malbec which was great. Service was friendly and attentive - can't be bettered. We'll be back for... More

A return visit for us and this time took 2 couples for their first visit. We all had pizzas and all were great. We shared several appys and all were very good. We also had Ceasar salads which were also very good. Several peach margaritas were consumed. The service is always friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a very calm... More

If you love beef this is the place in Nuevo Vallarta. A family friendly place, just off Highway 200. We both had a small filet mignon, one with mashed potatoes the other one with a baked potato. The filets were outstanding, among the best we ever had here in Mexico. Excellent quality and grilled to perfection. The baked potato was... More

We don't know why or rather how they put it all together but they do. Just aside the great faux-Aztec gate to El Tigre golf resort, this semi-garden restaurant is informal, yet with competent, easy and friendly service. But we did not go there for that; even though they offer other fare (such as fine pizza), this is for carnivores.... More

Our family went back twice! I had the Vicon and it was possibly the best steak i have EVER had. Juan Carlo was an amazing waiter and the staff was nothing but nice and funny. I wish they had this back in the states, I would eat there every day if i could. They had my favorite dessert, Bananas Flambe,... More

Formally known as "La Portena" but it still is a Great place for delicious beef, only the name has changed. Cooked to the perfection for your palette. I salivate as I type. They have a chimmi churro that I could use on more than beef. I even dip my bread in it and add some to my baked potato. Hubby... More

Once again we were happy to return to Buenos Aires for great tasting steak, nice wines and exceptional staff. The vacio steak is tender and flavorful. It is also a great place for families with young children, there is a play yard on site. Prices are reasonable and servings are generous.

The steak was very good - not excellent - the red wine was served much too cold, the bread was fair at best and the overall atmosphere was very nice. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
