My family has been going to PV and staying in Nuevo Vallarta every year for the last 7 years and this was the first time we've gone to the Riviera Grill - I wish we had found it earlier! It's so frustrating to fly to Mexico and ask for restaurant recommendations and be pointed toward Italian or French food. I'm... More

This is our favourite restaurant to visit when in Nuevo Vallarta. We enjoy that is it a short walk (15 minutes) from our resort (Paradise Village) and that it offers authentic Mexican food. I really liked the Chicken with Mole sauce. Service is always good and both nights we were there they had live music. When you leave they offered... More

This is a nice outdoor restaurant that has been designed with a feeling of eating in the jungle...very nice staff and the food is quite good. We found that the smell from the mosquito coils was very strong and took away from our dining experience. My advice is to bring your own bug spray and ask the servers to move... More

We visited because we had to get out of our all inclusive and our server at the AI works here too. It's really pretty inside and easy to access for my 80 year old mother. We were seated promptly, we ordered and the food was good. Not spectacular but good. I personally, think the food has gotten quite expensive in... More

We found this restaurant purely by accident, after walking up the beach to watch the release of baby turtles (a must do!) and then getting lost looking for another restaurant someone recommended. There were four of us, we were tired of walking and thought we were settling - could not have been more wrong! The staff was friendly and attentive,... More

We have dined here any times. Love the food which is always consistently good. There were 3 of us and we had the tuna, the popcorn shrimp and Mahi mahi Veracruz. All were cooked to perfection. We love the atmosphere, the live Andean inspired music and the caring attitude of the servers. The owner comes around frequently to converse with... More

A must visit every trip to PV. The hospitality, in my experience is second to none in this region. Then there is the food selection and quality, equally as super as the staff.

As mentioned in other reviews, we found the jungle setting a pleasant surprise. My wife enjoyed the Mahi Mahi veracruz and I had the tequila lime shrimp. Was expecting smaller shrimp since they were slewered but they were large (jumbo by Colorado standards). Drinks were reasonably priced as was the food. The solo singer/guitarist and flaming coffee "show" rounded out... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times and it is my favourite in Nuevo Vallarta. It really looks quite sketchy from the outside. In fact, the only reason we ventured there was because we each had coupons for a free margarita. When we arrived, none of us wanted to enter but we figured we could at least poke... More

Zero. On a scale of 1 to 10, that's how much I wanted to try Riviera Grill when my husband suggested it. HOLY COW WAS I WRONG. It looks kind of simple from the outside, almost like, "seriously? we are eating here?" once we got through the front door it was heavenly. candles burning, beautiful linen tablecloths, oh my--the best...
