Good food and location

Good food, friendly people, reasonable prices and a great location. We arrived half an hour before they opened and they kindly let us sit at a table right on the railing overlooking the marina, and brought us water while we waited. I had the fettuccine with fresh hand made pasta - excellent. My... read more

As we were staying at the Paradise Village we went here for our first night. The marina view is pretty and the sea bass was good, the prices were high for the area. The octopus carpaccio was greasy and unappetizing. Service was attentive

Lovely evening spent by the water accompanied by fine Italian food and wine with an emphasis on seafood. Our waiter, Miguel, was pleasant and helpful while not being obtrusive to our conversations. Located a stone's throw from Paradise Village. . .this restaurant is always on our list to visit each year when staying at Paradise Village. Quiet with atmosphere.

The food is expensive and poor dinner. We had 7 of us including our teens. The bread was stale and cold (I would expect the bread to be warm and fresh at this type of restaurant). The waiter was abrupt and rude. We had spoke to the chef earlier in the day who said he could make our chicken fetticini... More

We as a family of 15 ate here on our last evening at paradise village. We ordered each of the 4 anti pasti dishes. The best was the cheese and tomato plate. The prosciutto and melon dish was good, the cheese balls were yummy and the calamari was rubbery and overdone. All of the pasta dishes were excellent, the mushroom... More

We had dinner a few nights ago at il Pescatore while we have been staying at Paradise Village resort. The food was good--nothing spectacular--but the ambiance and setting is phenomenal. The tables overlook the marina yachts and sailboats, but beyond the water you can see thousands of bright stars. Very romantic. It's true what other reviewers have said about the... More

I've been coming to Paradise Village for over 13 years now. I've never been a huge fan of Il Pescatore- I thought the food was just ok overall. Do like sitting outside looking at the boats and water. When I saw some of the reviews recently I thought I would definitely not go. However, we were tired and wanted some... More

We have been eating at Il Pescatore every time we visited Paradise Village for the last 15 years. Often we would eat there several times per visit. It was always a highlight - nice ambience, good food, excellent service. We just ate there tonight and my how things have changed. There are no longer tables on the outside lower level,... More

New Chef, with new menu. A mistake in my opinion! My favorite dish here used to be the Ossobuco, it has been removed from new menu. The Tagliatelle Bollognese that I ordered was bland with inconsistent texture to the pasta. I will think twice before going back.

When we stay at Paradise Village we always make a point of going to this restaurant at least once. The Italian food is authentic, made from fresh ingredients and always very tasty. The service is exceptional too. This restaurant is open to the public (it's in Paradise Village on the Nuevo Vallarta marina), so if you are staying anywhere in... More
